  • ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Keeps the tank crystal clear
Size: Magi 200: 5 - 10 gal
This aquarium filter works great to keep the water clean and clear. It’s quiet, easy to install, and does an excellent job removing impurities and maintaining healthy water for my fish. The flow rate is perfect—not too strong to disturb the fish but enough to keep everything circulating. Definitely a must-have for any fish owner looking for reliable filtration. ... show more

  • Great filter
Size: Magi mini: 2 - 5 gal
I love these. I bought one for my beta tank. Its perfect amount of power (too much and your beta cant relax in their water) i aim it up and it filters the water perfectlyi love that i can put whatever filter media i want in it and it all fits inside. Its reliable. I love them so much they are in every tank in my house. 4 so far and it works great with every tank. They are also easy to clean and replace the media. ... show more

  • Works great for the price....but
Size: Magi 200: 5 - 10 gal
I bought this for a 10 gallon saltwater quarantine tank and it seems to serve that purpose well....but, the filter media is very small and requires cleaning or replacement often. For me it's 2 or 3 times a week to keep the tank water clear and clean. If you had this in a 10 gallon display tank, I think you would get tired of working on the filter so often. I only set the quarantine tank up when I plan to get new fish so not a big deal for me. I have considered buying a second one to have on hand just in case something goes wrong. The filter is quiet, plug in and go, moves a lot of water, and does a good job of keeping my quarantine tank water clear and clean with some regular attention. Some people say that it is too powerful and blows their fish around the tank. I think that depends on how it is set up and oriented in the tank and if you are looking to mimic a calm river pool or a coral reef with constant ocean waves moving the water. I would buy this again for the purpose it serves. 4 stars only because of the need to clean the filter often being so small. I would buy this again if it lasts a while. Exceptional for the price. ... show more

  • It's Magic
Size: Magi 200: 5 - 10 gal
I'm a huge fan of these little internal filters (5-10G) due to their ability to provide a strong flow. Not everyone pairs a nano tank with a betta. If you do, you perhaps want to look for a filter with less flow. Otherwise, these Nicrews are reliable and powerful to be very effective. Super quiet as well. ... show more

  • Pretty okay.
Size: Magi 200: 5 - 10 gal
Overall not a bad filter. I have one and a topfin 10g angled tank so it’s a bit longer than a normal 10 and it’s still fairly strong. It’s very quiet and compact. It comes clean and works right away. I just wish it was adjustable.

  • overall very good
Size: Magi 200: 5 - 10 gal
The media could not be loaded. by far one of the best filters, my fish can swim right under without getting sucked in and it cleared my water up very very fast. I also like the multiple nozzles and the fact that it comes with a built-in air pump, and the bubbles are very nice and filter is not too loud. The only thing I do is turn the bubbles off for bed as they can be a little noisy, but they are not too bad. Would definitely recommend for a 10 gallon. It’s very affordable and reliable and small and sleek, very easy to stick in the corner of your tank ... show more

  • Small, Quiet, Yet Surprisingly powerful
Size: Magi 200: 5 - 10 gal
The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased the filter for my 10-gallon aquarium, and after a few weeks of use, I feel compelled to share my thoughts on this compact device. As someone who values both functionality and tranquility in my fishkeeping experience, I've found this filter to be a mixed bag of brilliance and overpowering performance. **Pros:** 1. **Compact Design**: The size of this filter is truly noteworthy. It fits seamlessly behind my aquarium decor, allowing for unobstructed views of my aquatic inhabitants. 2. **Whisper-Quiet Operation**: One of the standout features of this filter is its near-silent operation. I often forget it’s even running, which is fantastic since it’s in my main living room. However, if the bubblers cap is removed It will make noises so I wouldn’t recommend doing that. 3. **Easy Installation and Maintenance**: Setting up the filter was a breeze. The instructions were clear, and it took no time to have it up and running. Cleaning and changing the filter is straightforward, which is essential for someone with a busy schedule. **Cons:** 1. **Too Powerful for Small Tanks**: While the filter’s strength may be beneficial for larger aquariums, I found it to be a bit too powerful for anything under a 10-gallon setup. The water flow is strong enough that it creates a significant current, which can be distressing for smaller fish and plants. I've had to adjust the outflow angle to try to minimize the turbulence, but it still feels excessive in some parts of the tank. 2. **Limited Flow Control**: I wish there were a more effective way to regulate the flow rate. The filter operates at one speed, which can be overwhelming in a small tank that needs gentler filtration. Overall, the filter is a fantastic choice for those who need a small and quiet filtration solution, but potential buyers should be mindful of its potency. If you're using it in a larger aquarium or are keeping more robust species that can handle higher flow, this filter might be a perfect fit. For those with delicate fish or plants, I recommend considering whether the strong current can be adequately mitigated before making this purchase. Despite its power, I’m still pleased with my overall experience and will be keeping it in my setup for now. ... show more

  • Best filter for small aquariums!!
Size: Magi 200: 5 - 10 gal
Best and most powerful small filter I’ve owned so far. I’ve had one for over three years and still runs great and recently ordered another one for my five gallon planter tank. Cheapest and longest lasting filters I’ve used. Easy enough to clean and love the way it disperses the water coming out, not too powerful to stir the fish around but enough movement to keep the water clear ... show more
