Assembly is easy -- just read and follow the instructions. ;) Extra nuts/bolts are provided in case you lose a part. It is super quiet and silky smooth to use. Is it a Concept 2? No, not at all. But it was only $203 delivered to my door. The display is far from exotic and you don't get all the bells and whistles. I have been exercising/cycling/running/skating/kayaking/rowing for decades and know my body pretty well and don't need watts and the other fancy stuff. If you want a home workout (rather than an accurately measured 2k time trial) the machine is effective. If you are the sort of person that thinks Strava is essential to ride a bicycle, this machine is probably too primitive for you. ;) For my 75 year old body it has sufficient resistance and is more pleasant than the Concept 2 at the gym due to lack of fan noise.

I am overall happy with this purchase. I got it for a great deal on prime day. It is sturdy, has a great weight limit (as a big'un it is difficult to find durable equipment at an affordable price), does not take up too much space at all, and was easy to assemble. My only complaint is listed below... keep reading. Assembly was easy and quick. The most difficult part was unpacking it, as it was well packaged and protected. Easy overall! The machine functions as expected. There is a dial to select different tensions. The little computer module thing automatically comes on when the machine is in use, and turns itself back off after a few minutes of inactivity. There is also a phone/tablet holder attached. I also love the slim build, and ease of putting it out of the way. It is light enough that I can simply lift the back, until the front is rested on the little wheels, and roll it out of the way. Takes up minimal space! My only complaint is the seat. It is hard and the "cradle your tushy shape" isn't really a one size fits all. I would have preferred a padded straight seat. After about 15 minutes, my tailbone is sore (and that is with my own padding my body provides). I will fight through it though. Maybe daily use of this machine will help my bottom conform to the seat. Overall I love the machine, and the workout it provides. I would purchase again for the price and space saving features, but that seat is not my favorite. However, I will be using it daily!

My partner and I are both in the 300-315 lb range and have had no issues using this. Hes 6'4 and I'm 5'5 and we can both use it easily, he can fully extend his legs. He wears a size 12M shoe and I wear a size 11W and his feet fit perfectly, I'd say mine feel little small for it but it's still doable! The seat is very comfortable and moves smoothly. There is a quiet squeaking/sliding sound but I think that's because were a bit heavier. Many of the comments mention how the resistance isnt super great--this is true. Were both a bit out of shape so we get a decent workout from it, but that's with it at the second to last setting. It mostly feels like a cardio workout and not like it's doing a ton for my abs/arms which is slightly disappointing. The machine itself is very compact and lightweight so you can easy roll it into a corner and it's not very noticeable. Was super easy to put together as well. Overall a nice product for the person who just wants a quick and easy workout.

Easy assembly but if your not careful you will install the seat backwards. We'll built, quiet and I believe it will be durable. Resistance is fine for me and I'm only on 4 setting. I'm 6 3, 230 and 75yrs old

INITIAL IMPRESSION: It's a well built rowing machine that suits my needs for leisurely workouts. Assembly is straightforward. In operation, it is wonderfully quiet and the seat glides smoothly. I really enjoy using it. UPDATE: After several months of moderate usage, the rowing machine is no longer as quiet and smooth as it was at the beginning. The seat becomes a little bumpy and noisy as it glides on the rails. A close examination reveals that the seat rollers, which is made of hard plastic, is shedding some material. It makes one wonder how long the rollers will last before they have to be replaced.
