  • Works well and fits in a small space!
The machine is just what you would expect. It is no frills, but is smooth, easy to assemble, a great size, and of very high quality. One item to consider is that using a wearable fitness tracker will give the best results in tracking calorie burn and time on the machine. Summary: This machine is what you need. Though it does not have the extra features like a built in TV and auto adjusting resistance settings, I highly recommend it. ... show more

  • One issue
Packaging was broken but the parts inside were in good condition. It was fast and easy to put together and it’s a nice small footprint. It has a perch for a smart phone or tablet, and has simple health monitoring capability, but does not require or interface with an app. This was a plus for me. The stride length is optimum and it is quiet. However, the screws were loosening after some use, causing wobbling in the arm levers and a recurring thumping noise. We had to tighten the screws on the arms every few uses. We decided to try a thread locker on those screws and it worked very well. This is a great machine for the price! ... show more

  • Solid exercise machine
I finally got an elliptical. I cannot describe how happy I am. I am an exercise machine person. I use my treadmill every day, and I also use my rowing machine...but not as often as I should. I have tried ellipticals at hotel gyms. I've never loved them. As a matter of fact, I've never liked them. And then I ordered the Niceday Elliptical Exercise Machine, Elliptical Machine for Home Use, because I grudgingly admit that I need this type of exercise. And I am really enjoying it. The elliptical has a small foot print, and I can fit it in my family room easily. It doesn't take up much space. It's simple; there's no guessing a number of complicated instructions or details. It took my husband about two hours to set up. One piece broke during shipping. This was a small plastic piece that was ornamental rather than functional; it hid some screws, so it did not matter to the functionality of the elliptical. The fact that I like this better than more expensive machines does not mean that the workout I am getting is compromised or easier. It's not. I have been using this elliptical every day since I received it, and it's hard going, but I am thrilled with it. I can easily adjust the tension, and the readout on the small screen (time, distance, calories, heart rate) is easy to see. You can pre-program your goals, but I like to just start and keep ramping up the difficulty. I'm in good shape, healthy, but I'm not an athlete. This machine is perfect for someone who doesn't want to break the bank, but doesn't want a machine that is made of thin plastic and safety pins, either. It's enough to use for a decent workout. It runs fairly smoothly, but not as smoothly as the expensive machines. My husband has to push the tension pretty high to make it run smoothly enough for him (to be fair, though, he's much more of an athlete). Recommended. ... show more

  • Body Tea Loading…
My goal this summer is to become healthier and feel more comfortable in my own skin. I believe I've found the perfect machine that will really help me achieve this goal. In the summer of 2023, I injured my back while deadlifting some heavy weights. I pulled that bar up to my thighs and realized that I was PR-ing at a new gym and didn’t know if I could drop the weight without getting in trouble, so instead of dropping the weight, I bent back down (no proper form) and set it down that way I wouldn’t drop it. Immediately, I realized that something was wrong. The most logical thing would have been to stop lifting and go home, but nope, not me, I instead tried again, further injuring my back. After many months of not going to the gym (a sad day, as I was a regular who went every day), a herniated back, and numerous appointments with medical doctors and my chiropractor, I started going to the gym again. I wanted to start slowly to avoid injuring my back again, so I started walking and running, but I realized that wasn't the best way to go. I actually had to stop again as I began to feel the pain in my back again. I was starting to gain weight again and feel very insecure all over again. I started to feel desperation, as a few months back, going to the gym and CrossFit were a part of everyday life and were a huge stress reliever for me, and now I was stuck dealing with a herniated back and feeling like two years’ worth of gym progress had all gone down the drain. After a lot of research and communication with my doctor and chiropractor (THIS IS NOT MEDICAL ADVICE), I began looking at different alternatives and other exercises that weren’t so intense on my back and came across this elliptical. Again, I had tried walking, but felt like it didn’t get my heart pumping, and running on a treadmill hurt my back even more. So, when I tried out the elliptical and found that my back felt fine, but I was still getting that heart rate up and feeling it in my body, I felt ecstatic. Research shows that an elliptical can be a good alternative form of exercise for people with back pain (PLEASE TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR, THIS IS NOT MEDICAL ADVICE) as the movement from the elliptical mimics that of either running or walking, with such a big impact on your spine. Now, this elliptical is the same as other ellipticals. I'm not saying it's special or that it healed my back by any means, because, at the end of the day, it's similar to the other ellipticals I've used at the gym. However, I do think you're getting your money's worth with this one. There are cheaper ones on the market, but there are also a lot more expensive ones, and this one is just as good as the expensive ones. First of all, it lets you adjust the resistance level, allowing you to have a quick, simple workout or a very intense one - you know, the kind where you’re sweaty and about to pass out. It also tracks your exercise data, including calories, time, and speed, and is easy to read. Finally, it's not too loud or bulky, so you don't need to go to your garage to work out. I think it's perfect if you have a little exercise room in your home, or even in your living room, if you want to watch TV while you’re exercising. It is well-built and functional. Overall, I would recommend this elliptical, especially for those who find the gym overwhelming or just don’t want to deal with other people. ... show more

  • Easy to Assemble... Good Workout...
This elliptical machine is easy to assemble with no missing parts included, made with quality materials, and is very durable. My wife can have her workout in what used to be a walk-in closet without waking me up, and vice versa, because this elliptical is nice and quiet. The tension can be adjusted almost infinitely to allow for a different exercise experience per user. This elliptical works well at helping you to get a good workout on cardio days. My "true rating" (patent/copyright pending🤣) is 9.2 out of 10. 🐻 *Statement/Disclaimer: This review is part of Amazon's Vine Program, which provides products at a reduced cost in exchange for sincere/frank reviews. • 18" stride length...good size for me (5' 9")
Gives a good stride length for most heights. I'd consider it a homeowner grade peice that delivers a good no impact option for cardio. Multiple resistance options easily adjusted and the led screen gives you just basic options. It's smooth and I'm 220lbs and it feels solid. Tools to assemble are included but are of course basic and if you have your own that would be a better option. Takes up less space than an average treadmill and is fairly easy to move. ... show more

  • Weapon of Mass Exertion Weapon of Mass Exertion
Overall, this elliptical is pretty nice. Foot position is comfortable, and the movement is smooth. Tension control DEFINITELY works and the data on the screen is large and easy to read. The size of the unit is nice for home use, since most people have limited space for workout equipment, and it’s on wheels so it’s easy to move around your space. If you are trying to decide between an elliptical and another exercise machine here is what I learned when researching the benefits of each: BENEFITS: • Low-Impact Workout – Gentle on the joints compared to running or jogging. • Full-Body Engagement – Works both upper and lower body muscles simultaneously. • Cardiovascular Health – Improves heart health and endurance. • Weight Loss & Fat Burning – Effective for burning calories and shedding fat. • Customizable Resistance & Intensity – Suitable for all fitness levels. • Improved Balance & Coordination – Encourages proper posture and movement. • Convenience – Can be used indoors regardless of weather conditions. • Low Perceived Exertion – Feels easier than other workouts while still being effective. Installation Notes: • Need a sharp knife for packing materials and blister packs • Use “real” tools: Allen wrench T handle or impact wrench, 13mm and 17mm wrenches and/or sockets • 30 minutes to unpack • 1h 30m to assemble • Save tie wraps on the wires as they keep the wires from falling inside the tubes. They are difficult to retrieve if they slip into the frame tubes • Save the packing material to support the unit while replacing the shipping feet with the permanent feet. Especially if you are assembling the unit alone • Tuck the sensor wire behind the control unit to “clean up” the user interface and prevent the sensors from getting “caught” while exercising. • Note: there will be four (4) screws left over after the installation is completed (no, you didn’t forget anything) PROS: • Works very well in use • Elliptical mechanism is solid and smooth • Unit is almost completely silent even under heavy use • Resistance control is easily changed during operation • Small footprint on the floor as compared to other elliptical trainers • Use interface is simple and easy to learn CONS: • Requires batteries. No recharging capabilities from the wall or the unit while in use. • Tension controller is difficult to reach while exercising A very nice consumer-quality machine and certainly a good addition to your home gym. Loses a star for requiring batteries with no power option. Four stars for me ... show more
