  • Amazing if you walk a lot and carry a lot of stuff like me. A great upgrade from my Fox 5.
Color: DEEP INDIGO
I upgraded to the Bugaboo Donkey 6 stroller from my Bugaboo Fox 5, and overall it has been a great change for our needs. My baby is currently 13 months old, and I wanted something that could grow with us and eventually accommodate two kids while still being comfortable to use every day. The stroller feels just as premium and sturdy as the Fox line, and the side pocket setup is surprisingly easy to maneuver considering its size. One thing I really appreciated is that several accessories from my Fox 5 still work with the Donkey 6. I was able to reuse the wheeled board, cup holder, organizer, footmuff, seat liner, smartphone holder, and even the big comfort transport bag. That made the upgrade a lot easier since I didn’t have to replace everything. The stroller itself feels very well built and handles different terrain nicely, which is one of the reasons I like Bugaboo strollers in general, since I stroll a lot, and carry a lot of stuff. There are a couple of compatibility details to keep in mind. Car seat adapters are different between the Fox 5 and Donkey 6 (I didn’t end up needing them since my baby is already older). The sun canopy from the Fox 5 also didn’t fit on the Donkey, so that’s something to plan for if you’re upgrading. I imagine that the rain covers should also be chosen specifically for the Donkey model since the canopy shapes are different. Overall, though, it’s been a fantastic upgrade and a great option if you’re already in the Bugaboo ecosystem and planning for a second child. ... show more

  • Great quality
Color: DESERT TAUPE MELANGE
Stroller looks stunning! I chose the beige to reflect heat from my child and it’s so beautiful 😍. The build quality is sturdy and the stroller is easy to push. Con’s: bulky when folded not sure of its worth it for mono but double stroller yes 🙌🏼 -To adjust handle bars you need to unclamp sides adjust into slot then reclamp instead of an easy adjust as you walk button. -My toddler is soon to be 3 years old and it looks like the straps are keeping him in his seat. Seat is small for 50lb copacity. - ... show more

  • Cumbersome yet slim for a side by side. Cumbersome yet slim for a side by side.
Brilliant! I think this stroller is remarkable. I have had the pleasure to compare this side to side with several other strollers and this won out each and every time in nearly every category except when folding. I’m going to focus on folding first then expand into other categories. The only tricky problem I faced with folding was the wheel orientation. The wheels have a mind of their own and makes folding this down tedious at times. It’s much like watching something in slow motion. If one of the wheels spins the wrong way this is not folding easily. The thing that sets this apart for me is the versatility. I love being able to stroll having my poppets side by side and facing me. Other strollers can’t compete and honestly don’t even compare. If you have the room for a buggy this size then without hesitation I highly recommend this. There is a certain ease to having this stroller. Everything is positioned in such a way that things feel natural and comfortable. Everything is designed essentially where you want it to be. If you are using it for one tot or 2 possibly 3 at times (if you purchase the wheeled board) you’ll realize the ease and convenience. It’s so sturdy and built to take the wear and tear of childhood. The bottom basket carries a whopping 33lbs. It truly helps a ton when keeping up with multiple children and their various needs. This is precisely a sports mom’s stroller if there ever was such a thing. And if you’re at the stage when you are using this stroller as a single the side bag is magical. The side bag handles up to 22lbs and truly alleviates the stress of managing a purse or diaper bag. It takes the weight off of you, no excuses. There is a clear spot for the bag and a brilliant use of space. It gives you a front and center spot for your items making them more accessible than ever. Your poppets can be faced forward or backwards with this stroller. It’s always nice to have that option in my opinion and if toting around 2 you can do opposite directions so they can see each other. Upon receiving this stroller you will notice it comes with 1 seat and the fabric accessories to make a seat or a bassinet. If there are additional poppets you’ll need to invest in an additional seat and I would absolutely give a resounding thumbs up. Assembling the seat and bassinet felt effortless. It wasn’t difficult at all. I didn’t feel overwhelmed or in over my head. I didn’t even need to access or study directions. It was just a natural process and made sense as opposed to folding the stroller down. Folding the stroller down took a bit more time and effort, prompting me to view videos. This stroller is one sweet ride. I can’t rave about it enough. It truly makes life feel a little less overwhelming. No matter your place in life with your LO’s this can adjust to that. It really doesn’t take much to reconfigure things. The quality surpassed every expectation and the multitude of options set this stroller apart. The donkey6 while it feels XL is actually uniquely slim for a side by side stroller. The ability to maneuver in tight spots is wonderful and makes me more confident having chosen this. It weight also helps push this stroller over the edge. It’s shockingly not as heavy as it looks and is quite easy to pick up when folded. This is no ordinary stroller. Everything is designed so ergonomically well that I am not phased or bothered by the mischievous wheels one bit. This superseded every single expectation. ... show more

  • This is a premium looking stroller (and priced accordingly).
Color: DEEP INDIGO
We have been using our new Bugaboo Donkey 6 stroller for approximately a month now. As a mother to many, for over a decade, who is a bit of a stroller snob, I have tried (with various degrees of likes and dislikes) so many different kinds of strollers. I have found some features that I love and some features that I do not like. The Bugaboo Donkey 6 is not the worst stroller that I have ever used, but it is also not the best. It is also exceptionally pricey, with exceptionally pricey accessories as well. First off--I was super excited when it said "bassinet included in the box" because I figured then it could be used with an infant (bassinet) and a toddler. Unfortunately, that is not the case, because while a "bassinet" is included, it uses the same frame (different fabric) as the toddler seat. To get a second seat frame is $470 (ouch!). To get a second bassinet, add an additional $270 to the $470. So, truthfully, while it is expandable to a double, it is not a "single to double" out of the box. And, it costs more than so many double strollers *just* to get another seat, on top of the already expensive part. Secondly, this stroller *looks* premium, and it is. The deep indigo is nice and looks fancy. I wish it had leather vs. black on the handlebar for this, as it does for other colors. I did notice a bit of piling pretty much immediately, even with light use. Thirdly--this stroller frame is quite sturdy. It does not have the easiest height adjustment for the handle nor the easiest collapse, but both are doable. To stretch the stroller into a double almost takes two people, as it is tough to do so. Fourth--the basket on this thing is fabulous. It is strong and big enough to hold a toddler (or you know, the toddler's things). The included "diaper bag" is fine... I almost wish it would collapse in a bit more and not have an included diaper bag, but it is perfect for someone using this stroller as a main means of transportation. While it says it has large, all-terrain wheels, this stroller does not do great in thick rocks or in grass. It also (surprisingly and the main reason I took a star off) would not go up over concrete sidewalk that had approximately a 1.5 inch deep. It bounced off and bounced back at me. I have had significantly cheaper strollers with smaller wheels that have made it over the same spot. It also has next to no shocks--it is obviously not a jogging stroller, but I would expect some with an all-terrain wheel one. It actually bounces far too much for my baby (she walks, so she's sturdy) to ride in it when in grass. Overall, this is a beautiful stroller. It looks fancy. It feels fancy. It's a premium stroller, at a premium price. I think it absolutely has its place--it turns on a dime, it fits through doorways--and I think its place may be best for someone who is using it as a main means of transportation, perhaps in a city, or who needs to carry lots of gear (maybe medical) compactly. I'm not sure I'll ever add a second seat to it, due to the already high cost in it, but perhaps...we will see. (I also love the bassinet. It is LONG, long enough that my child wearing 18m clothes can actually lay down in it, so if you have a special needs child who is much older than typical bassinet age, this should work for them, too, at least for awhile.... but the length doesn't really help much given that most children outgrow developmentally long before size). ... show more

  • Solidly Built Stroller
Color: DEEP INDIGO
The Bugaboo Donkey 6 seems very well-made; the fabric and frame feel high quality. I appreciate the large tires - they appear capable of handling various terrains, which is a plus. The canopy looks substantial and should provide good coverage.

  • High quality stroller with major upgrades from last model High quality stroller with major upgrades from last model
Color: HERITAGE BLACK
I love bugaboo. All of their products that I have tried are high quality and smart, this stroller is no exception. I was vey excited to try the new donkey 6. I have the donkey 5 already but I’m very impressed with the upgrades. This is in my opinion the best double stroller, even with one kid, storage is unbeatable. Here are some highlights: - Bassinet have more mesh that you can open to prevent it getting to hot. - All black, all black details - Easy to maneuver and fold despite the size - The side bag/basket, love that you can hang it in the handle as well if you have two kids in the stroller. It looks nice and doubles as a diaper bag. I only wish it would have some pockets inside. - The design of the entire stroller is super nice. - Fabrics are durable and washable. Overall I highly recommend this stroller. If it fits in your budget it’s absolutely worth the price. ... show more

  • Smooth and sleek Smooth and sleek
Color: WHITE
I have owned several Bugaboo strollers over the years, including the original Bugaboo Donkey with my two oldest daughters back in 2017. This newest version has some really nice upgrades, but there are still a couple of things I wish Bugaboo would improve. The side luggage attachment looks much nicer and more modern. It is not mesh like previous models and it fully zips up to keep items secured. It also comes with handlebar attachments that allow you to hang the side luggage bag from the handlebar when the stroller is in double mode. The under seat storage is also much larger than previous models and is easily accessible from either the front or the back. The extra space is very useful when you are out with kids and need to carry a lot. I love the Heritage Black color. The all black look is super sleek and modern. I really like that Bugaboo removed the white accents on the wheels that were on the previous versions. The all black wheels give the stroller a much cleaner look overall. Another upgrade I noticed is the seat fabric. It now wraps around the entire bottom of the seat frame, which helps protect the frame from scuffs and scratches. This is a nice improvement because the frame on older versions could get marked up over time. The stroller still has the classic Bugaboo quality. It feels sturdy, pushes very smoothly, and overall feels very well made. One downside is that the bassinet does not come with a cover for the pad. I could not find one available for purchase on Bugaboo’s website. For a stroller at this price point, I feel like that should definitely be included. The biggest issue for me is the depth of the seat. I remember the original Donkey having a shallow seat as well. I am not sure why Bugaboo has not redesigned this yet. My almost two year old son cannot sit comfortably in the first recline position for very long. He looks very uncomfortable and I can tell he does not enjoy it. The second recline position leans too far back for him. He prefers to sit upright so he can look around while we are out. To fix this, I ended up purchasing the Bugaboo Buffalo seat fabric since it is deeper and wider and can fit on the Donkey seat frame. It fits perfectly and will give us a few more years of use out of this stroller. Overall, despite a few design quirks, the stroller still delivers the quality Bugaboo is known for. It is durable, smooth to push, and a great option if you want a stroller that can grow with your family and convert for multiple kids. I would especially recommend it for parents who need the flexibility of switching between single and double mode. Edit to add: My son is 1 1/2 and currently 32 inches in height. In the photos he’s on the first recline setting. ... show more

  • Best stroller you will ever buy! Best stroller you will ever buy!
Color: FERN GREEN
This Bugaboo Donkey 6 is incredibly well constructed! The fabric is great quality as is the frame and tires. The tires are large and meant for all terrains. The canopy is amazing, we live in South Texas and I think this kind of coverage is hard to beat. There is a large basket at the bottom. There is also a tote included with stroller straps. The tote can carry 22 lbs, it comes in handy when shopping or just to carry baby’s needs. Included in the box is a bassinet, 1seat and belly bar. This stroller supports many configurations, and can go from using it for 1 child to 2! You can use the bassinet aside the seat, or each on their own with the tote attached to the side. You can also purchase a 2nd seat to make this a double stroller for 2 toddlers and this is one of the ways I tried it as I had a seat already from a much older bugaboo. Which, by the way will fit onto this frame perfectly! Pushing this stroller is an absolute dream, I can push my 2 and 3 year old who weigh probably 60 lbs together incredibly easy and one handed! My average size 5 year old also fits well in the seats and is just as easy to push. We fit through several doors and elevators easily for being a side by side stroller. This stroller does have a small learning curve when it comes to folding and unfolding as it’s not made in the US, but it both folds and unfolds easily. Some of my favorite features of this stroller is how I can push it 1-handed, every thing is washable and very durable and the handle is adjustable, I really like this as I’m not even 5’ tall and my husband is 6’ so strollers don’t often work for both of us. Out of all the double strollers I’ve bought over the past 20 years, this is hands down my favorite and worth every penny. ... show more
