Box says 7000 MB/s read speed. My PS5 said it’s 6539 MB/s. That’s 461 MB/s off. I don’t know if that’s as close as any drive gets to advertised speeds but there you go. Easy as pie to instal. Worked right away. Note: the default internal PS5 SSD is only 5500 MB/s. You can’t use the second drive to save your screenshots and video clips, just games and apps. But really, that’s perfect. This is a drive that’s faster and has more space to hold and run your games. You can use the original slightly slower and less capacity drive for your saved pictures and videos. ... show more

This was such and easy install and setup. Slide the side off the PS5, unscrew the storage cover, locate the support bolt and put it in the middle than tighten down the storage. Power on the PS5, it will find the storage, ask you to format it and like 2 minutes later, it’s ready to go! The instructions weren’t all that helpful but it was easy to figure out. ... show more
