I use this many times daily! When I feel a hot flash coming on, I grab it out of the freezer. It cools my neck which in turn eases the hot flash. Then return it to the freezer. When you start to feel warmth again, grab it. The only thing negative is that it doesn't stay cool as long as I would like, but overall it's well worth it! ... show more

I got this to bring along when camping to have something to help cool down that does not require electricity. Pros: Takes up limited space Does get cold quickly per the instructions Easy to use Reasonably comfortable Light-weight when cold Cons: Can freeze completely solid if left in ice/cold water too long, and then it needs to melt a bit to be able to bend it to use as intended Doesn’t necessarily last as long as claimed (though retains some cold for a while, and as mentioned, gets cold quickly) Overall, for the price, it wasn’t a bad buy. There might be a version that works better for a little more. If you’re looking for something to keep you AC-level cool for hours, something electric is still your best bet. I’ve tried several cooling devices to no avail. I sweat when I’m vacuuming, walking the dogs, doing the dishes. This device is the only think besides an ice pack that has helped cool me down. I like that it goes in the fridge vs the freezer. For me it lasts about 20-30 mins before it needs to go back in the fridge. I would recommend having 2 if you’ll need cooling down for a longer period of time. Definitely worth the money in my book! ... show more

I purchased this item, due to hot environment at work. The use of it wasnt at all enjoyable. It was stiff after getting it cold and it didnt really get all that cold neither. The thought was there on trying to keep you cooled off but, I would suggest trying a different type. I only used it once, now it's sitting in my "I dont use work draw". ... show more

I walk 7 miles a day and thought this would be perfect in the hot weather. My walks are a little over 2 hours. It only lasts 30 mins. Save you money and just buy one with a fan. It also doesn’t stay in place as you walk either. You have to keep adjusting it. 10/10 do not recommend.

The best thing about this is that they don't have any condensation whatsoever. You can freeze them in the refrigerator, which is cool. I wish they were colder and stayed cold longer. I bought two and I switch them out, which works OK.
