  • Great PSU!
Style: Gen III|THOR Size: 1200W
Does the job well! Much less random crashes from my GPU taking too much power. Came with more than enough cables for everything I’d need. No difference in volume compared to before coming from a 750w EVGA. It’s definitely on the spendy side but worth it in my opinion. The only downside I’ve found is that when it’s orientation in the fan down position the OLED screen is upside down which makes it look like gibberish until you get used to it 😅 ... show more

  • Asus Thor
Style: Gen III|THOR Size: 1200W
What an absolute powerhouse of a PSU! This thing is the nicest power supply I’ve ever had. It was so easy clicking in the threaded cables that it came with. They made it very easy to manage the cables. I got it when it was on a very nice discount and boy was it worth every penny. This thing comes with a side screen that lets you read the wattage. No issues and well made ... show more

  • Overpriced and a Complete Piece of Junk!
Style: Gen III|THOR Size: 1200W
I have owned a lot of power supplies, from a lot of different brands over the years but this is hands down the absolutely worst power supply I have ever attempted to use. I bought 2 of these units because I was upgrading graphics cards in two PCs. I wanted these because of the ROG Equalizer cable that was supposed to be bundled with new units, spoiler alert, they were not. I spent a few hours meticulously putting together a new PC with the aforementioned 5090, running all my cables and making things look neat. It comes time to plug in the PC and that's when things got interesting. The RGB on the motherboard immediately lit up, so I knew that at least the power supply was outputting low voltage. However when I pressed the power button to boot up the machine my breaker tripped instantly. Now, having done all the research beforehand I knew that this should not be happening. I stripped the system down so that the only things plugged into power were the 24 PIN ATX and the CPU EPS connectors. The system still would not boot and tripped my breaker again. In a last-ditch effort I grabbed the second power supply I had bought which was intended for another machine. I plugged everything in, this time starting with just the motherboard power and working my way up adding peripherals and eventually the GPU after each successful boot. To my delight the second unit worked, unfortunately it only worked for about 5 minutes. Just when I was ready to shut the system down to finish everything up when I attempted the power and back on my breaker tripped again. I decided to work in reverse disconnecting everything and going back down to just the 2 motherboard connectors. Unfortunately the breaker tripped again. In the end I decided to purchase 2 Corsair units. I've been using Corsair for years and had no issues and wouldn't you know it, the Corsair units work flawlessly. They were also considerably cheaper. I know Asus doesn't make their own power supplies, but let this be a warning to anyone considering these. If you want anything close to reliability I would advise against buying them very strongly. Seems as though we're paying mostly for the ROG name, fancy RGB and a screen on the side of the power supply. Not worth it in my book when I get to units that both don't last longer than 10 minutes ... show more

  • Best PSU If You Can Afford It
Style: Gen III|THOR Size: 1200W
The best PSU I've ever purchased for my gaming PC! I've had Corsair, EVGA, and many different off-brand PSU's. The EVGA was a very close runner up to this one. The ASUS ROG Thor 1200W has extraordinary quality, comes with all cables needed, and the wattage is more than high enough for anything I can throw at it. Pros: - Great build quality - High quality cables - High wattage - Sleek look - Efficient Cons: - Expensive ... show more

  • Great PSU, no so great cables.
Style: Gen III|THOR Size: 1200W
Come with no issue, new version display the ROG logo every 10 seconds, but I hate the cables so much, they're so basic for such a high end PSU, I HATE Etched cables, next time at least put 16awg in every pin and crimp it properly.

  • Rock solid.
Style: Gen III|THOR Size: 1200W
This is a mega PSU. It does a great job of handling my Astral 5090, even fully loaded. I love the OLED displaying power consumption. It comes with plenty of cables for practically everything.

  • A solid step-up
Style: Gen III|THOR Size: 1200W
I recently lost my previous power supply to a power outage. This supply was a significant step-up from the previous supply the fully modular cabling made is fast and easy to install and setup.
