UPDATE 03/12/20) After a nice talk with Amazon rep Joxan, he talked me to get a replacement or refund, he made the process quick and simple, this Only happened because of his excellent customer service, I oted to get a replacement all went well this time and I am happy, my grill looks great!! 03/08/20-Just got this in today, total dissatisfaction, went with this over the Weber, and now regret it.( No wonder the Amazon guy asked if I did not mind assembling this) Poor manufacturing, the ash catcher does not align properly, and cannot close the vents completely, some one messed up when drilling the holes for this. Grill is fantastic and it it fits perfectly on our patio. The only reason I am not giving a perfect rating is because it arrived with part of the handle damaged. Aside from that, the grill is looks great.

    • If only the entire grill was as nice as the grates.
The grill arrived with the packaging intact, which is honestly what I was most worried about. That made it a bit surprising when I noticed a pretty raw spot on the lip of the lower kettle. Ok, not a big deal. It's a grill, so it's not going to stay perfect anyway. As I'm unpacking the rest of the parts, I notice loose washers in the bottom of the box. All of the listed hardware seemed accounted for in their appropriate sections of the package, so I moved on. The rest of the assembly was relatively uneventful, aside from the temperature needle seeming a bit wobbly, which should have been an indication that things were going to derail. Before the coals were even completely lit, the sensor half of the temperature gauge fell off. I though that this might be an easy fix if I contacted the manufacturer, but it turns out that this piece also holds the temperature gauge on top of the lid. This means that every time you open the lid, then entire section tries to flop backwards off of the grill. Even though the lid is getting treated pretty delicately at this point just so I can finish cooking, the lid handle began working its way loose. What I initially considered just a few small flaws added up to completely losing faith in the build quality. I'm not really motivated to go through the frustration of assembling another one of these that may or may not end up failing, so I'm opting to return the unit for a refund through Amazon. PROS: - Grates: the 3 section hinged grates are really nice. I was looking forward to getting a lot of use from them. - Hardware packaging: The hardware is packaged in an Ikea-style blister pack with everything separated nicely. One of the best thought out grills I have ever seen, high quality all the way round. Put together in about 45 minutes. Heavy and nice. Any kind of grill you want to do is achieveable. Love this grill.

Grill came in damaged had to send it back. I read where other people have had the same issue. Manufacturer needs better quality control
