I use this to align a T-handle tap wrench to tap holes. Works great. Only complaint is the spring pressure is a bit too much for real small taps (like 3mm). I tapped some 3mm holes in aluminum using one of these for tap line up. Ended up with some sloppy tapped holes. If you use these for small taps, just tap 3-4 threads and finish by hand. Functions OK. But, the movement is a little sticky and fairly short. The shaft would fit drill chucks easier if it was a little smaller.

These make tapping so easy. I've gone years without them. Now I'm tapping holes that don't even need threads just because it's so easy.

The one with the kneeling is rough, has much pressure, was rusty when received. Once I lubed it, it works GREAT
