I really want to like these pans. I bought the 4 piece. The problem is that they are just too thin. Like most pots and pans these days they have a thick disk attached to the bottom. That is a little on the thin side but acceptable. The biggest problem is the body of the pan itself is way too thin. I can see these getting bent out of shape in the kitchen cabinets. They look good, I like the shape and size. The handle seems to be attached well, it's Bakelite or plastic I'm not sure which. But if you fill up these pots up the handles will flex lifting them because the sides of the pan are too thin. These wouldn't be a bad pot if they were around 25 to $30 for four of them but at the price they definitely should be thicker. If you don't do a lot of cooking and more importantly you clean up right away these pants would probably be fine. If you're going to use them everyday and let them soak overnight you may want to look elsewhere. Bottom line they could easily be five stars if the company just put a little thicker Steel in the pot itself. ... show more

All pots are very thin metal. The handle is not sturdy. The glass lids are also thin. The attached picture is the smallest pot after cleaning with boiling water (not put any detergents). The inside bottom surface is uneven for the smallest pot (2 qt). For the biggest one (4 qt), I can feel that the handle was curved down when I added water about 3/4 of the pot. I did not see any words on the pots about what kind of metal or what grad of stainless steel. ... show more

Great product for the money, but why do companies put stickers on their products? The stickers are on the bottom of each pot and you can’t get it all off, so it smelled horrible the first time using them!

This Lake TIAN six puece set is a nice buy. Happy with the purchase and value for the cost. Arrived well packed to avoid damage. Lightweight and the looks are superb. Will definitely last many years and provide endless meals year round. Would buy again down the road once this set needs to retire.

While i have no issue with the pans themselves the glass on the lids is very fragile, and i mean VERY fragile. They come with the knobs not attached, went to put on the first one and it exploded. It didn't creak it didn't crack it shattered sending shards in every direction. But again the pans are excellent. Just be VERY careful with the lids. Or don't use them. ... show more

First of all these pans came in centimeters instead of 2 quart, 3 quart and 4 quart. Then there are these stickers on the bottom of the pans that are extremely difficult to try and remove. They look so nice and I had used it for a few days when boiling water and noticed it started to sizzle on my ceramic top and here between the pan and the bottom of the pan it opened up and water started coming out onto the stove I was horrified

My sister looked high and low to find "stainless steel" pots that were small enough for her usage. All others come in complete sets and are very expensive. These are perfect for what she is using them for. However, the stickers are hard to remove. Use "goo gone" to remove them.
