I’ve been using the Mueller Ultra Kettle for a while now and I’m really happy with it! It boils water super fast – usually in just a few minutes which is perfect for making tea or coffee. I also love how it looks. The clear glass and blue light while it’s heating up make it look really modern and cool on the kitchen counter. The only small thing is that it can be a bit loud when it’s boiling, and sometimes the lid sticks a little when I try to open it. But overall, those aren’t big issues. Seems to work very well, this is my first electric kettle I have ever owned so I can't compare with others. You should know if you are boiling the 1.8L capacity, it takes longer than the 2 minutes on the listed picture, it's more like 5-7 minutes. Still very reasonable, once to a full boil, it turns itself off. I like that it lights up blue when it's bringing water to a boil. Looks great in the kitchen, mine did have a very small dent on the top of the lid but not extremely noticeable and doesn't affect performance. I do like it a lot and glad I bought it. ... show more

I bought this kettle because the amazon ai bot near the description section said that the inner lid is stainless steel. It is not. Its just straight abs plastic that will be in contact with piping hot water which will leach into the water. It is not safe to use for the long term. Will be returning.
