I perused so many cute and beautiful copper and stainless steele kettles to replace one I had, and every single review of the metal ones had a negative, like pitting on the outside of the kettle or handles coming off, etc. Mine that I was replacing was stainless steele and one day I went to dry it, and my rag came out with black marks on it from rubbing the kettle insides at the bottom seams. That did it for me!! I tossed it and started looking for another kettle. I spotted this kettle and I love it! It boils water super fast, and there can be no pitting or other issues like the metal ones have because it is made of glass. It is a bit bigger than I expected and is a little heavy when full of water to lift, so I wish it were a little smaller, but I love it just the same and would never go back to a metal kettle, no matter how pretty!! ... show more

We had a Mueller that I bought 4-5 years ago and always liked it. But it finally started to flake off white material off the bottom and even though the filter caught it, I didn't feel comfortable continuing to use it. When I was searching for electric tea kettles, I came upon this Mueller which looked like it was as good as any of the others, but at $25 was quite a bit cheaper. A few of the oddities from the other kettle the company seemed to fix, like moving the on-off switch from the handle to the bottom. Although it's slightly larger than I expected, it's very attractive, has a lovely light around the base when it's turned on. It brings the water to a boil very quickly and has an automatic turn off should the pot run dry. Great safety feature! I would definitely recommend it. Measurements are marked on the side of the glass pot. It does have a short cord so needs to be placed close to an outlet. ... show more

Good tea kettle. Love the blue light it emits when it's on. Downside: the lid is made of plastic and seems flimsy compared to the rest of the material. Easy use: flip a switch. Heats up pretty quickly, auto shut off. No leaks so far. Makes great tea.

Arrived fast, works great! Looks to be well made and should quality item. And, I love that the lid actually comes off. Previous kettles have had a spring-powered pop-up top that eventually starts sticking and becomes difficult to open. That will not be an issue on this kettle.

I love this kettle. It boils a liter of water in about 3 minutes, and looks pretty doing it because of the blue lights that come on when you turn it on. It’s perfect for making my cup of tea in the morning.
