  • Mueller pans
Size: 17
The pots and pans are great. Not overly heavy like some stainless steel pans I’ve had in the past. They clean up great with Barkeepers solution. Cooking is great, heat evenly and quickly. Great buy for the money.

  • Quality, Quality, Quality
Size: 17
For the longest time, I held back paying for a nice set of SST Pots and Pans. Call me cheap. I finally decided no more typhoon, as it always ends up getting scratched up. I came across this item, 17 very useful pieces, of SST cookware. While unpacking the items I was impressed with the durable quality of the items. They also look amazing and I feel like an iron chef now...lol. I suppose its a lot like anything else, you get what you pay for. This set was very affordable to top it off. Thank you Mueller for putting out a high-quality product at more than reasonable prices. ... show more

  • Good Deal!
Size: 17
Great stainless steel pans! Some foods will remain stuck on the bottom after cleaning, but with a soak, and a good scrub comes off. The bottom of the smaller pans have started to show burn marks but nothing too bothersome.

  • Average product that does the job, use comet and dish soap to clean
Size: 17
I'd say these are a 3 star average product. It is a good product for beginners who are using stainless steel. The steamer and boiling and sautee pots make it worth its price. They do cut corners in some of the design, for example inside the handles they are missing a little bit of that brushed stainless steel, the pouring design is not closed up with a stainless rim so all layers are technically exposed. Not a big issue because for 150$ you're getting a lot, the pouring is great on these pans, nothing runs down the pan. They are a bit flimsy on the sides, but do heat up fast. Lightweight which could be a pro for someone with arthritis or unable to lift heavy pans. These types of pans will get water marks and burn marks rather quickly, so wash with soap then put a generous sprinkle of comet on the inside of the pan with a splash of water, polish with a sponge, rinse, and it will look good as new, much cheaper to do than using bar keepers friend, comet works great! Comet also helps in maintaining its clean stainless steel look. I think in regards to the frying pans ( Pans that people tend to use the most) these pans ( frying pans) will probably last 5 years, 7 years tops and eventually warp, they will most likely need to be replaced by then, the boiling pots you could probably get many years out of. They are easy to work with due them being light weight, they will work well if you keep the flame low or medium low, you do not need high heat, these pans get hot very fast. Since these pans are cheap, I'm a bit more relaxed with these pans for cooking. I Spray Pam on these before cooking then turn on low flame, let sit for about 2 minutes and anything you cook, including eggs will be non stick, some pots i dont use Pam because over time it can leave a residue that is hard to get off, but I'd say with these pans, use the cooking spray if you want, its well worth it in achieving non stick. I use All Clad and Cast Iron for dishes that require some more heat and searing, but these Mueller dishes are great for knock around pots and pans. ... show more

  • I love these
Size: 17
Read instructions before use. Season before use but I forgot on a fry pan and it was fine. You have to heat up and they are for real when they say med-low! I cook fish and eggs on low. Clean up is easy. Barkeepers Friend is better than The Pink Stuff for any brown or yellow marks. I wash again with soap after. I find that the yellowing or browning is from the oil heating up so Ive learned to just cook it all on low! Rice was done in less than 10 minutes and cooked perfectly! I am also cooking on gas range so I feel cooking is more even and faster than glass cooktop. I love all the pieces and for the price it was better than Sam’s Club and Costco. ... show more

  • I Tried Both Mueller and Cuisinart
Size: 17
I tried both their 17pc SS Set. I ended up picking the Mueller for several reasons. Mainly the 6" little pot. (Cuisinart has a 5" little pot) and after cooking for decades with 5" pots and wasting the heat on standard 6" coils I decided on the Mueller as the main reason with some caveats. You have to get use to the smallest pot being wider and more shallow but that is OK but it heats up 25% faster with boiling water then the Cuisinart. The other reasons is the thoughtfulness of its design which Cuisinart does not do. It has vent holes built in the glass lids, the handles are longer and thinner and transfer less heat when you pick it up. The steamer has three dimples on the bottom to keep it off the surface after steaming. The Cuisinart does not and may spill or absorb whatever is on the surface you put it as it's completely flat bottomed. Some other features noted is the Mueller is not polished inside or outside as to look chromed like the Cuisinart but has a rather matte-burnished finish (which I like) which surprisingly sticks less on most foods then the chromed interior of the Cuisinart. The pan side are also more flatter which I also like. It does not feel like digging into a hole like the more upright side of the Cuisinart pans. Now for the negative: The Cuisinart pans are slightly heavier which may indicate a more robust design but with a slight caveat which is mysterious to me. Although they both have thin SS sides on everything and the Cuisinart is heavier it shows bent metal at the rivets on the inside where the handles are attached and Mueller absolutely does not show any dimple nor has it deformed the metal at the riveted handles unlike the the Cuisinart which seems to show it like it was stamped and cheaply made. I do like the feel of the handles better on the Cuisinart, however you will not notice unless you had the two side by side. The Mueller is only rated to 350 degrees without the glass lids and 260 degrees with glass lids in the oven. Paltry, as the Cuisinart is rated to 500 degrees without the lid and 350 degrees with the glass lids. Both heat up about the same except for the previously mentioned 6" small pot and although the sides are thin you won't be able to bend them to any degree in standard kitchen use. One other thing, both mention dutch pots but the Cuisinart has a weirdly shaped round mixing bowl type side (curved) where the Mueller is the standard straight sides round one. Whatever, with both I eat up whatever I cook in them and find no after taste of anything at all. ... show more
