I purchased this to replace my older cast iron Dutch oven casserole pot. I hated cooking in my other pot because even though I seasoned it with oil, I could never get it clean. This pot worked beautifully on the stove and in the oven. The enamel coating cleaned easily after making a stew and cooking for 3 hours. The price was good compared to others I looked at. It is also nice to look at and matches my kitchen.
