We have an indoor pet quail that likes his outdoor play time. We keep him in this pen while outside for a couple of hours during the day sometimes. It keeps him safe from predators while still allowing him to soak up some rays and get some fresh air. Love how portable it is and how easy it is to put together and put away. It folds up and takes little to no space in our shed. I would definitely not recommended leaving this outside, and it’s not strong enough to use as a permanent outside hutch as it’s super light and not fully predator proof. This is so easy to assemble because it's highly unstable! Whenever you move it, you have to pretty much put it back together. There is no locking mechanism to keep it in place.

I expected to have some assembly to get this ready for our bunnies. I was very wrong. This came completely assembled and folded together as if it was an origami piece. Upon receipt of this order the doors were ripped out , fortunately i was able to put it back together as we did not have time to re-order and wait for new one. How long will it last not sure. Wish my chickens did not grow so fast would have requested for replacement

    • It's perfect for small chicks.
I wish it was a bit heavier but it was perfect for my hen and chicks. I wish I bought it sooner. It would have prevented the loss of several chicks. It's easy to set up on a flat surface. When done using it fold it up and put it away.
