First off, I love the product. The ceiling fan hook is a very nice feature. Having read others reviews, I was expecting the assembly to be a large job. I consider myself very handy, and had my father to assist me. We had the entire frame assembled in about 3 hours which seemed great Then came the roof panels. The lower panels are very large, and wobbly. It was difficult to control both sides of the panels at the same time, but with patience, we were able to get them in place. The instructions on how to 'slip in' the upper panels are a joke. You have to lean all the way over the lower panels to even begin placing the uppers. Then wiggle and force them until the finally pop into place. I am 6'4" and with a ladder, placing the upper panels was at my limits. 16 roof panels, at 15-20 minutes each to get them seated and aligned. Installing all the roof panels took close to 5 hours. I have only had it up a few weeks, but so far no leaks, and no complaints. Looks great, and we've gotten many compliments. Just know what you're getting yourself into if you plan to assemble it yourself..

We absolutely love our new gazebo! My only regret is not buying it sooner! We bought the 12 x 16‘. We put it together in one day. It took six of us for a total of seven hours, but it was well worth it for sure! We get the sun all day, so this makes it very convenient to be outside and not be stuck under the sun. It’s like a blanket of shade. The quality is excellent. My daughter and son-in-law are considering buying one themselves. My husband has gone as far as buying outdoor fans and patio lights to complement the gazebo.

As previously mentioned this comes in 6 boxes. We got 5 one day, and the following day the 6th box came. Unfortunately, this box was broken open and you could easily see the roof panels were bowed and damaged. We refused that delivery and I contacted the company through Amazon. I provided pictures of the box as it was, still in the delivery truck. Photo attached here. They were very responsive and sent a replacement box within a couple of days. I recommend you be there to take delivery in person and refuse any badly damaged boxes. My husband and I put this 12x16 model together ourselves. It took about 20 hours which we spread over a couple of days. He is 63 and I'm 60. He is very handy and mechanically inclined, which helped a lot. It wouldn't hurt to have more than two people to stand the frame up and connect it. You will want a drill, 2 stepladders, and a ratcheting hand driver with the hex bit. We found a long screwdriver handy to encourage the roof panels into place. As previously noted, the instructions are almost entirely illustrations. The illustrations are pretty good and we were able to follow them without a lot of issues. Two pages had stickers with written notes on them. I'm guessing they had lots of questions regarding those items. Our tips are to be prepared to loosen parts you have assembled in order to coax things into place. Also, when assembling the roof panels, there are some infuriating little clips that continually want to fall off. We used a nail set to try to hold them in place and still had some trouble. Once the roof panels are up you will have a million little square washer things to screw in. They go between the frame and the panel. It is tricky to screw them in without them sliding down the panel. See my pic where I used a small nail file to stop them from sliding and allow me to get the screws in. You will get through it, but it will take some patience! We feel like the frame is not so sturdy as we would like. I also didn't realize that the main posts are triangular instead of square. It hasn't rained yet so I can't say if it leaks; I'll update this review if it does. We've had a lot of wind and the panels do clatter every now and then, but not terrible. The curtains don't impress me. They are more gold in person than in the photos. They don't pull smoothly, they catch on each other and on parts of the frame. I'm not confident that the screens will keep insects out since they don't go down to the ground. There are lots of gaps around the insect screens up under the roof as well. All in all, it's fine and does the job. If we had it to do over we would probably spend a bit more and get a complete steel structure. Note that this gazebo doesn't come with any power outlets for your accessories.

My gazebo is an Erommy 10 x 12 SKU XWG-213TN-3 ordered on Amazon. SHIPPING Shipping was fast and I received 3 boxes on 3 consecutive days. The boxes weigh approximately 70 Ib 110 Ib and 120 Ib. The packaging was fair but I thought it should be a little better considering the weight and the number of parts. INVENTORY To be honest I never did a full inventory there was just too much to have scattered everywhere so my inventory was more a case of inspecting for obvious signs of damage, there had been some movement during transit but everything appeared to be OK. TOOLS The must haves for me were an 8' step ladder, a 6' step ladder, a battery drill with torque control (I did most with a setting of 5) and a small set of hex bits for use with the drill. ASSEMBLY I assembled the whole thing on my own but I do recommend at least two people, some of the parts are long or require holding in place and require someone at each end. The base frame was quite easy, the roof was a little more challenging. The project was fun and I enjoyed it, it was not a race, I took my time over 3 or 4 days to completion and it came out looking good. CUSTOMER SERVICE I ended up short of 8 curtain hooks, Erommy mailed me 20 extra within a week of me contacting them. TIP The roof has many "tiles" that have a clip along one edge that help retain the tile in the frame, I had trouble keeping the clips in place so I put two 3/16 pop rivets in each clip (there are holes in the clips already). Just make sure the rivet is inserted from the bottom side of the roof tile. This worked for me others may want to try one to begin with to make sure they agree with the option

This company is bad news they have no telephone number you can only send things through email and then they keep saying they don't get them we had pieces that were damaged they had to come from the factory cuz the boxes were fine we weren't able to fix and the directions have no wording just pictures that are not very clear we had part bags marked wrong missing parts no customer service whatsoever the only good thing I can say is it is a very pretty gazebo but make sure you have many people cuz it takes five people to build and many hours
