I'm so happy to be able to receive this 3 in 1 cast iron Dutch oven pan. Very high quality cast iron pans. I love how very versatile the pans are, you can use together as a Dutch oven or separately. They are very easy to clean. I love that they come preseasoned. The pans and handles are very sturdy and durable. The pan is a nice weight but not to heavy. The size of the pans are perfect for family dinners or cooking for a crowd. This pans also fry chicken perfectly. I definitely recommend buying these 3 in 1 cast iron Dutch oven pans.

VERY convenient for oven, stove top, or even open fire cooking. I do recommend wearing/using hotpad holders when using any part of this set, though. And maybe work-out a little before trying to carry this pan when it's filled with food... But... it is actually very versatile and it is now one my few go-to pans in my collection!

Solid set of cast iron. 2 pieces (pan and pot) that link together to form your dutch oven. Both are what you'd expect of cast iron. No handle cover, built to last. The pot is good and deep, perfect for deep frying small amounts of food at a time. The skillet is a little on the small side, and big enough for one steak at a time. It's listed as camping / RV gear probably due to it's size, but this would be fine for home cooking. The size will limit how much you can cook at a time, but cast iron retains heat, so (like a restaurant) cranking out food on it will be fast. Together, it's a great set. I could see making a stew while camping quite easily. As with all cast iron, the more you use it, the better it gets.

This cast iron Dutch oven has a fairly rough surface from casting. So rough that it will never fill in from use (lodge cast iron a rough, but over a few years will mostly fill in - these pans are twice as rough/deep casting) The lid fits mostly, but not perfectly. It is slightly uneven, meaning it won’t have a good seal - so long bakes will have moisture loss. At the price point it isn’t bad, and I will add this into my monthly usage. This will never be one of my daily cast iron pans.

This is a great dutch oven. It looks small, for this type of oven, but it actually holds quite a bit. I have been very happy with its performance. Dutch ovens always come with lids, but this lid is super special. You can take it off and it's a great skillet. Good and heavy-duty. Very happy, whether it's used as a lid or a skillet. The texture of both the dutch oven and the skillet are pretty rough, even for this type of pan. There are ways in which roughness is considered good, but this is more rough than I'm used to. There are some cast iron items that people grind down and re-season in order for them to be more smooth. This would be a decent candidate for that. Overall this has been a great combo. Smart and useful. Nice and useful size, both the dutch oven and the skillet. Recommended!
