This chainsaw is the Greatest! So convenient to carry around (in hand or on floor of vehicle). I’ve cut 5” branches with it (cutting from both sides)! I’ve cut roots with it where they surround a buried broken leaking PVC water pipe (Flush chain and bar slot afterwards)! Oil it manually!! Chain and bar are metal on metal; have to lubricate frequently. Instructions don’t show where chain tensioning screw is (on motor side next to the bar). Instructions indicate chain sharpening but don’t provide the file size. Harbor Freight has diamond grit mini-file set in a blue case. The round one fits. Palm fronds, etc., should be cut at a 90-degree angle. Otherwise, they shred, messy. An on-body carry device would be nice to keep both hands free while working rather than laying it on the ground. ... show more

I LOVE this chainsaw. It is easy to handle and chopped down 11 year old holly bushes (trees). The 2 batteries allowed me to keep chopping the wood when one battery charge ran out. If anyone needs a chainsaw, compact or not, this item is spectacular. The only drawback was the maneuverability. Trying to get around some of the knots on the tree proved a little difficult. ... show more
