I absolutely love this clock. I read a lot of the negative reviews but still decided to give it a whirl. What I discovered are those people don't know how to use the clock properly. It's all user error on their parts. This is a very basic clock. A child could program it. A boomer? Probably not. Call your grandchildren to help you if you're over 65. But seriously, it's so easy I didn't have to use instructions. I was looking for a basic clock where I could see the time when I wake up throughout the night. This fits the bill. Added bonus of date and weather. You can have the night setting off if you want it pitch black, but if you do that, you have to push the button on top to light it up. My only complaint is the green is more neon than sage. A minor inconvenience for an otherwise perfect clock.

Was a cute useful clock until it wasn't. All of a sudden the display stops working, it lights up but that's all, no time display or anything. It literally does nothing now but is a light. Absolutely horrible and worse part is of course it's no longer returnable so total waste of money. Do not recommend. And now I saw that it's now flagged as a frequently returned item now, probably because of this issue.

This uses LCD backlighting... that TURNS OFF BACKLIGHTING ... (yes, my mistake/lack of knowledge). I need an LED light to view from across the room--all day--not one that only illuminates after you touch it! This needs a better designation as a bedroom clock "ONLY"! A basic clock it is not. White background fades to a mist and is barely readable seconds-after touching clock. NOW I know all LCD units will do the same... misleading at a minimum by Amazon AND sellers---- but buyer frustration correctable with better info by seller/manufacturer, and if better marketing by "types" by Amazon clearly existed. Clock is good, clean font, clear when illuminated/moved/touched. I see no intent to mislead anyone here--good product ... but a lapse in marketing clarity for sure, one that Amazon could correct by seperating LED and LCD lit clocks and defining the difference clearly.

I needed a small clock to place on my podium for speakers. It's hard finding what I need so I settled for this. The instructions sucked but I was able to set what was needed. It's a lot bulkier for what I wanted but I can work with it... however the LCD is horrible at angels. Songs of the reviews has videos and they are absolutely correct. The only reason I decided to keep this was that I managed to place it at an angle that's good for others to see. I couldn't place it on the podium because it wouldn't stay. I placed it underneath on it's shelf but I had to twist/turn it slightly on its back in order to see it. It's functional and with the large display no one will have hard time checking the time.

I needed to replace my old digital clock, after the screen failed. I use it as a replacement for that clock on the old cable boxes, which frankly was the best part of those dang things. When I cut the cord, I really missed having that digital clock so I bought one as a substitute. It suits my needs perfectly. Easy to program without a degree in rocket science, enough light that I can see it in the middle of the night but not so much it keeps me up, and I like the large numbers that take up the entire screen.

I’ll start with the pros: inexpensive, accurate time and temperature, easy to program, batteries last a long time. One main pro as others have mentioned, and I cannot stress it enough. The display can only be read at seeming ridiculous angles. I can only seem to read it when it’s a foot below my eye level, and 6 inches to the left. Any position I set it in to read it from my bed does not work, whether it’s across the room or on my nightstand, on top of my dresser, or holding it right in front of my face. Incredibly frustrating piece of junk. Please do not make the same mistake I made. Do not spend $7 on this thing. Spend $15 and get an alarm clock from a reputable brand as I will be doing today and toss this crap in the garbage.
