  • After the first one worked so well, I bought another one!
This is a truly good little camera, mixed in with a LOT of garbage that's also out there. In daylight outside, inside with good lighting or even decent lighting it's great. Night vision on both of these is decent, but gave it a purplish cast. Haven't tried motion sensor yet, don't need it. These are the smallest cubes I've found and have very good resolution at 1080P/720P as long as there's little movement. They're designed to be stationary, and that's where they really shine! I'm using them as alternate viewpoints when I video live music on stage, and then editing the footage in with handheld video shoots. Just keep them away from the speakers... they don't do vibration or movement so well! :-) Battery seems to be up to it's rating as well, and the learning curve isn't bad... the more you use it, the more second nature it becomes to switch resolutions. You won't find better in this price range... I know because I've tried. Until you get up around $100 for a Run Cam or similar, these will do nicely. Not great with up close resolution, but more than acceptable from 3-4 feet and and out. (FYI, I do have a Run Cam to compare with, and it's obvious that these have limitations. But for $75 cheaper, they are very useful for lots of people!). ... show more

  • Not good quality video.
Video is not clear. It’s appears to be vintage video quality how I would explain. iPhone camera is 100 times better. Also when plugged into the wall outlet for charging, there are no red leds to monitor. When I reached out to customer service about the charging LED concern, I received back a copy of all the instructions that come with the camera. Instead of a human discussing the exact issue I was having they basically said here read the instructions again and if you need further help reach back out. Good isn’t cheap and cheap isn’t good. ... show more

  • Sort of works
The camera is overall OK, but not great. "OK" means one can make recordings with it. Here are my findings. The manual says on page 17 that the work time in motion detection mode is 5 hours, which is reasonable because in that mode the camera should not work all the time but only when it detects motion. What I see is that it can work for about an hour or so. I thought initially that the battery is fully depleted after an hour, but then one time I left it for about 3 hours and when I checked back, the camera was off as I expected and as it should be if the battery was completely down. So, I tried to turn it on without charging and surprisingly it started and recorded again in motion detection mode. So, the only logical conclusion I can make at this point is that somehow when in motion detection mode the camera shuts itself off after an hour but there is still juice left in the battery for more. That's in my view is a serious drawback since one would like to maximize the time it works in motion detection. ... show more

  • Nice hidden camera but no display and 60 minute battery life
One hour battery life but great picture. Really good night vision but it doesn't work if it's plugged in. If it's not plugged in the battery dies in 60 mins so you either have an outlet nearby OR get creative and buy a portable charger to use with it to give it a longer battery life. My other gripe was that I missed a few key things that got overwritten because motion mode wouldn't go into effect or at least I couldn't tell. There's one tiny led light that turns blue, red, and half blue/ half red and if one attained to those colors, it's pretty simple to read. But there is no way to tell once set whether you have it on motion, or loop. Loop will record 5 minute videos around the clock for approx eight hours, then it will start overwriting itself. I lost allot to that. A few times after I'd mounted it (takes me like 5 mins to get the angle right and make sure it's hidden) I thought I set the cam to motion, but found out a few days later after retrieving it and plugging it in that it was in loop mode the whole time and had been overwriting itself. If there's one thing I could change, it would be to have the camera make it more clear somehow as to whether it's on motion or loop. The light blinks a series of blue red sequence to tell you what it is set to, and it's really unclear. Setting the cam to record is easy, but motion is iffy at best unless you study the blinking light sequence which clearly, I still after two months haven't gotten right. All in all I would've returned it if not worth it. It's worth the money and it does what it suppose to (just not very clearly) ... show more

  • Not what I expected
Not a huge fan of it. Definitely was looking for a different route. Never use and collects dust

  • Tiny Concealable Value
No this is not the best, feature rich camera on the market, but it does exactly what it promises for cheap. This is a tiny 1" cube camera that can be hidden most anywhere. Picture and video quality is good. Plenty of accessories are included, but an SD Micro Card is not. However, during warranty registration, you have an opportunity to receive a free one. This is an entry level camera. Due to size, there is no interface for set up. There is also no app to make settings on. All settings are done with the power and mode buttons which give flash and color feedback via 2 tiny led. There will be a learning curve, but the unit does work. The one thing I would change is the location of the power port. I would move it to the rear which would add to its concealabilty. The mounting options would also need to be modified to make this happen. ... show more
