The Delisi 6" Cordless Mini Chainsaw kit is extremely handy to have for small limbing/pruning tasks. Every month we have trees that drop branches on our property. I now grab this 6" cordless chainsaw when I go out to clean up the branches before I have to mow. I will also use this mini cordless chainsaw for some house remodel/new build construction tasks. This little and lightweight saw will be perfect for cutting out ICF wall foam in order to have voids to run electrical wiring and plumbing lines. The Delisi 6" Cordless Mini Chainsaw kit is a steal of a deal ($60 - 30% Off Coupon = $42) at the time of this review! The included carry case has room for a few extra items and helps to keep all of the accessories in one spot and fairly well organized. I would have liked to have seen the manufacturer use steel hinge pins (instead of the plastic latch hinge pins shown in review photo) for the 2 case latches, but at this pricepoint I am glad to have the carry case included. Having two batteries included in this kit allows for you to complete small yard tasks in a timely manner. The two 24 volt batteries need approximately 2 hours to recharge. I wish that these batteries used either the DeWalt or Milwaukee formats instead of being of a proprietary design. At this price you could buy another kit if your 2 batteries die over time. The battery charger takes up minimal space in the carry case. I'm still getting used to the wall-wart style of battery charger with a cord that plugs into the batteries (like cell phones did before wireless charging became affordable). This mini chainsaw kit comes with 2 extra chains. The average cost for one of these 6" chainsaw chains is approximately $3 each. Again having extra chains that are ready to go allows for you to complete your day's task without needing to take the time to sharpen a chain. The chains are very easy to change, but the included flathead screwdriver's blade is to wide to properly perform this task (see review photo). I keep a small phillips head in the carry case for changing out the chains. The included cloth gloves are okay, but they will only fit up to a men's hands that are medium in size. I only use leather gloves when using any chainsaw, so I will add a pair to this carry case. Cloth gloves offer zero protection from chainsaw mishaps. With that being said realize that leather gloves will only give you a minimum level of protection. Be sure to keep the chain and bar well lubed by using the included oil bottle and brush. I will change out the bottle fluid to regular chainsaw bar oil. I already have this on hand since I run Stihl chainsaws for most tree trimming/felling jobs. I highly recommend the Delisi 6" Cordless Mini Chainsaw kit.

I used this saw for the first time yesterday because I had some branches down and some trees to trim. What a handy little saw! I would have used a bow saw or a small folding saw if I didn't have this nice tool and it would have taken me longer to get the job done. I cut small limbs from around 1" to 4" in diameter. It worked perfectly for that. The chain is very sharp and the motor has sufficient power and RPM's to really move that chain. I trimmed maybe 20 limbs of differing sizes and I still had plenty of battery left. I'm impressed with the build of the saw and how it functions. As you'll see in the listing, it comes with the nice carrying case, two batteries, the charger, a screwdriver for adjusting the chain tension, and some odd's and end's. I will be keeping it in the case so that I can just grab it and throw it in the truck with my other chainsaws when I'm cutting wood. This will be nice for trimming off any branches that I miss with the big saw, when I'm cutting firewood. It will also be handy for when we have brush to burn. There are always some pieces that are too large and need to be cut smaller to safely throw on to the fire. That is all 2" - 4" diameter stuff which can easily be handled with this tool. It's also of the size that my wife is comfortable with for that work. I consider the saw to be 5 Star in quality and functionality. I rated it 4 Star because it is not a 24V saw. As one other reviewer mentioned, the listing shows the cells that make up the battery and it's short one cell to be 24V. I also measured the voltage of the battery and it is around 20.5V, not 24V. I am seeing more and more products that are not accurately represented and I hope that the seller/manufacturer reads these reviews and makes the necessary changes. Either make it a 24V saw or change the information to 20V so that the buyer knows what they are getting.

Anytime we have a small project, we have to drag out the big and bulky chainsaw. This smaller model really ticks all the boxes for a smaller model that's much easier to maneuver. This chainsaw is perfect for cutting small limbs, branches, and clearing brush. It's easy to use and comes in a nice carrying case. There are also two extra chains, which is extremely convenient. It also comes with two rechargeable batteries, so you don't have anything to worry about plugging anything in. Overall this is a nice unit.
