This turned out to be a great choice for my truck. It helped the throttle response and I like the increased sound from the engine compartment. The adaptor for the filter is well designed and fits nicely without modification. I like that. If I were to design the install I would correct the mass airflow sensor mounting. The install actually mounts the airflow sensor on the back side of the tube as opposed to the front. This required re-routing the wiring. I didn't mind it, but it's an easily corrected issue. I would also change the auxiliary air line and breather tube mounts by swapping their positions with each other and angle them differently so that the plastic breather line and the auxiliary air feed were positioned closer to stock. This would allow a more similar to factory installation reducing the stress on the lines. I had to twist the plastic line for the breather and stretch the aux air line. It didn't have a pretty flow to it. It could look better. The tube is aluminum and painted black. I like that. I was expecting plastic. All the hardware was there and it fit nicely. 2013 F250 FX4 6.2l gas I waited until I had 1,000 miles with it to review to get a reasonable data point. My average MPG improved from 9.8 to 11.9. This involved a little over 300 miles of traditional city / hwy driving and a 700 mile road trip to the coast during which I drove much faster than anybody worried about fuel efficiency would. I don’t feel any noticeable power or acceleration difference. With that said it does sound great and puts out a beautiful roar when accelerating through the middle gears. ... show more

I just received the intake today and haven't installed it yet. It looks nice other than the end of the intake tube that goes toward the engine is bent and dented. It's unlikely that this occurred during shipping as the product was packaged very carefully. Double boxed with lots of packing material. EDIT: I have installed the intake and despite the dents it fit and sealed up just fine. I'm very satisfied with how it well it does it's job. It is VERY NOISY under throttle, but that was to be expected. Great part, easy installation with detailed instructions. Would purchase again ... show more

Definitely worth buying. Easy install, and lots more power. The only thing I didn’t care for is the mount onto the old bottom filter body. I think it could be a better design. It says to remove the middle clip on the 2016 f250 you can’t unless you cut it out because it’s molded to the bottom filter body that you attach the new filter cage to. I just push the middle clip down. But it fits really loose when you clip the new filter cage on the top. Other then that it’s so great.. definitely worth buying. ... show more

I didn’t realize the intake tube was missing until I had taken my factory air intake off and started assembling the K&N kit. Was highly disappointed it was my first day off In 3 weeks and I had planned on getting it installed.

So i have a 2016 F250, 3 in lift kit with 35x12.5s, straight pipe from the y pipe. Got this since they claim u get better horsepower, torque, throttle response, gas mileage, better sound, etc Anywho I can say this, it was easy to install, took me about a hour. Now as for the rest, im sure it does increase your HP and Torque. Throttle response is a little better at higher speeds it seems. Gas mileage, im still getting 10.4mpg. Before i lifted it and everything i was getting 12.5ish. Even before I took the intake i was getting basically the same. Some people are claiming they are getting 1.5 to 2 mpg better gas mileage. lucky them. Now for sound not whole much different honestly, you do hear a slight whistle when your 2000rpm+ bc of the air being sucked into the intake. Again I dont think it sounds different but someone at work thought it sounded a little different today but "not much". Now do i htink its worth 300 bucks....no I do not think so. My truck was already loud with the straight pipe. Maybe when your stock it may sound different. Im quoting from someone who put a review on ehre he was like ohh it feels like the engine is in the cab its so loud etc etc. nah it really isnt. just my 2 cents. Atleast you can reuse the air filter for 100,000 miles so i guess thats a plus. ... show more

I install the intake in about 45 minutes. Very easy to do. It fit great, and it is very obvious the sound is awesome. The response at the pedal is great, and the increase in mpg is what I expected @ 4mpg. Along with installing a performance muffler, a Flowmaster 40 series, the performance and sound of my 2016 Ford F-250 is everything I was looking for. ... show more
