This table was so hard to assemble!!! I read the reviews and thought "I'm a millennial. I'm the registered putter-togetherer of the family. I can do this!"...boy, was I mistaken... It should definitely be done by more than 1 person. After I managed to put it all together, painstakingly I may add, it does look nice. It seems like it won't fall apart, as far as sturdiness goes, but it does have a slight wobble. I'm not sure how to remedy the wobble, as all the screws have been properly placed and tightened (as I recall). I bought this table because it was so difficult to find a table set for a small space that didn't look flimsy for under $200. Looks nice and very sturdy. Doesn’t feel or look cheap. It's okay for two people. Not too small, but doesn't have much space. I put 11" plates to give you a rough idea of the measurements. - Yes, assembling it was a nightmare, but I did it myself. Need some patience and force to connect the metal parts. - These metal parts are very annoying since they prevent chairs from sliding under the table, and there is less leg space for you. I’d choose the table without metal parts, but it was out of stock. - The surface of it scratches easily, so be VERY careful. Clean with a soft cloth only. No sponges. I scratched with a soft side of a sponge!... - Everything was packaged well: no spots or scratches. None of the parts or tools were missing. - I used a wrench to tie the screws better. You don’t need it but makes the process easier and faster. Would I recommend it? I guess I would. I'm not happy, but I'm satisfied. It's a good option for the price. But better to opt for the table without black metal parts. ... show more

This is a really cute table. It arrived in good condition. However, the assembly was horrible. Extremely difficult, no real directions so you are guessing most of the way, and it is hard without a second person. I bought this as a table for my kids to do crafts and school on. I’m worried my toddler will lean against the side and it will tip over. It’s not wobbly but the sides are too far from the base allowing it to tip over with weight on the side. Offering 3 stars. 1 taken due to assembly being way too difficult and the other for tipping factor. UPDATE: taking another star away. We’ve had this table for barely over a month and it chips horribly. There’s white specks all over it because the paint is cheap. It will chip by looking at it. ... show more

It’s confusing to assemble. Directions have no words, just arrows. A lot of extra pieces of hardware not even utilized. Assembly took an hour only because of trial and error placement. Once done, I flipped it over and sure enough, a few scratched on the tabletop already. I have small kids and expect it to not be perfect but it’s modern and super affordable for our little breakfast nook! We have 4 black matching chairs en route to complete the set. ... show more

Good value only real issue is a bit of the paint was chipped on the edge of the table upon arrival. Otherwise it is easy to assemble and serves its purpose. If I had to buy again I would opt for a table with four legs. This table seats three and requires the chairs be at a particular angle meaning neither two or three chairs can be pushed under the table when not in use at the same time. ... show more

Assemble was mostly easy except they had plugged the metal frame with some rubber stops, it doesn't say on the instruction that you're supposed to take them out and they're also super hard to take out, I don't understand the purpose of them, seems kinda useless and a extra step. ... show more

This table worked perfectly for my extra seating area/breakfast nook. It is stylish and edgy I love it. The only negatives I have for this product is the legs/brackets are a pain to put together! (Deffinetly helps to have a second hand) and the table top scratches very easily. My husband placed some stuff in a box on the table and then slid it to pick it up and it left a bunch of fine little scratches on the top. ... show more

I wanted a new table for the second wave of WFH this is the perfect height for my lucite chairs from IKEA. I’ve been struggling to find something tall enough. It took me maybe 15-20 minutes to put together. No missing pieces, no scratches and it was packed really well!
