I am so glad I got this wedge and it was something I really needed. I had been having problems sleeping due to the pain in my neck and nerve issues in my arm. I really needed some elevation and this worked out really well with my other purchase the Duro-Med side sleeping pillow. This was the alternative for me spending a lot of wasteful money on the Medi Cline acid reflux pillow. The firmness was perfect and allowed me to sleep on my side without pressure on my shoulder. Best investment without a dent in the wallet. 7.5 inches for the height was good enough for me as I originally I thought that I would want the 12 inch height but now that I've used the 7.5 inch, I'm glad I went with it. ... show more

The specification for the memory foam thickness and the height is not as described. Memory foam is 1 inch thick not 2 inches as described. And the overall height is not 7.5 inches either its 3/4 inches shy of what they describe. Made in China, of course.

I love this wedge pillow, it's a great product, not too soft and not so expensive. It's been helping me a lot to mitigate my GERD symptoms. I must only say that even if you can easily wash it, I would have loved to get a second cover, but I couldn't find any of that size online. Its cover can get dirty quite easily if you sleep directly on it and it's also a bit warm. So, I've been using a cotton pillow cover on the top of it because cotton is definitely a cooler and more comfortable option than the original cover itself (..but then I wash both of them... and you cannot use this pillow without its cover..) ... show more

The cover is thick, soft and comfortable plus easily removable, it is sturdy and should last a very long time. The wedge does exactly as described. Great for relaxing and watching TV also. Have bought other things made by Milliard and have never been disappointed, including this wedge.

My nighttime GERD has been completely eliminated. The wedge cover is soft and sort of a velour, yet I have not noticed that it is hot when sleeping. The cover unzips for washing. I use the wedge with my own pillow. I am a back-side-back-side sleeper throughout the night, and the wedge does not interfere with side sleeping. Wish I'd known about this pillow years ago, as I have been suffering from nighttime GERD for several years. Having this for a few months, my husband, who uses two pillows, tried it out and like it.
