I got this primarily because I sit a lot during the day. The support it gives in my office chair or on the couch is pretty great and I have been feeling less sore at the end of the day. I have tried it a bit lying in bed, and it is pretty comfortable in multiple positions. I can see it working well for side sleepers. It does come vacuum sealed, and it says to wait 2 days to regain the full shape, but 1 day seemed plenty, and the slight smell was also gone by then. ... show more

Don’t hit "Start Return" yet! If your pillow arrived looking like a shriveled black sponge, it’s just holding its breath. This high-maintenance companion needs two things to become a game-changer: Time and Air. The Setup (Don't Skip This): The Expansion: It’s vacuum-sealed into another dimension. Give it 24–48 hours to reach its full 11.8-inch height. The Stink: The manual says 48 hours; I say give it a week. Open a window and let it off-gas until the factory scent is gone. The "Manual" vs. The Box: I’m uploading pictures of the "instruction manual," but honestly? Don't rely on it. It’s just a tiny slip of paper that tells you how to unzip it and air it out. It gives zero info on how to actually use the thing. SAVE THE BOX—the diagrams on the side of the packaging are the only real guide you get for these 4 uses: Prone Prone (Stomach Support): Lying face-down with the wedge under your hips to save your lower back. Reverse Hip Flexion (Straight Leg): Kneeling and leaning over the incline for upper body support. Reverse Hip Flexion (Leg Flexion): A deeper kneeling angle with a much sturdier "landing pad" than a standard pillow. Reverse Supine: The classic hip-lift while lying on your back. The Verdict: Once it grows up and stops stinking, the Plus Size footprint (25.5" wide) is great because you won't slide off the sides. The cover is washable (thank goodness), and the support is very solid. Just don't expect it to look like the picture five minutes after opening, and keep that box for reference! ... show more

Okay, let's get this straight here: This is NOT memory foam. Maybe I'm the only one who got a product like this, but likely I'm not and some people don't know what memory foam is. Memory foam is notable because it conforms to the shape of whatever puts pressure on it, and then retains that impression for a few seconds once the pressure is removed. It is firm, but not hard, and when you put your hand on it, it should sink noticeably. THIS CUSHION IS NOT THAT. Okay? Do not listen to the people saying it is. What THIS cushion is, is clearly industrial spray foam that was squirted into a mold (and very sloppily, at that). It is almost rock-hard. And if firmness is your kick, that's great, but don't call it memory foam. And all of that might be fine, where I'm concerned, except for one huge thing. THIS. CUSHION. REEKS. I mean...I wish I could describe how it smells outside "industrial", but I need you to understand how nauseating it is, as someone who's not usually bothered by smells. I bought this about two weeks ago now. It has lived outside, until it started raining, and then we moved it into our garage, and now it's back outside. TWO WEEKS AND IT STILL MAKES ME WANT TO PUKE. The garage stinks of it, now. Okay? The entire. Garage. I would happily return this in a minute, except in my misguided optimism, I washed the cover and the little mini pillow. Dear reader, even the cover couldn't be rescued from the outgasing. I used baking soda and vinegar with my unscented detergent. It smells like the cushion. My washer had to have a clean cycle run to get the smell out. I do not know where all these positive reviews are coming from. If this product was, at one time, made the way it says it was and they cheaped out; if maybe they source from different places with different methods? Bought and paid for? I don't know. I use this pillow every day. I use it when lying on my stomach reading. It supports my chest and neck really well. When I get tired I move it under my legs to elevate my feet. The height is perfect. Very relaxing for legs and feet. The memory foam feels supportive. Not too soft and not too firm. A bonus is my cats love it too. They sleep between my legs with their bodies leaning on the pillow. I wasn’t going to get this because of the embarrassming and questionable images and acts this is also associated with.. but I’m at my wits end. I put a pillow case over it to sort of hide wtf it is also marketed for.. and just lean on it when I can. I almost fall asleep. It is firm.

I purchased the cushion to aid in stomach sleeping. Had two issues with the item since it arrived. - Strong off-gassing from cushion several days after unsealing it from plastic packaging, beyond the two days recommended by the packaging, which has prevented me from using the cushion. - Housemate saw the illustrations on the packaging when she glanced at the packaging in passing, (which depicts a feminine figure wearing little to no clothing) and made fun of me.
