Okay so I'll be honest, I was a little skeptical at first because I've bought a few of these "ergonomic" pillows before and they always end up flat or useless after a week. But this one is genuinely different. I got it mostly for reading in bed and my neck was ALWAYS killing me after like 20 minutes. Now I can go an hour easy and get up without that stiff, achy feeling. I've also started using it under my knees when I sleep and it's made a noticeable difference in how I feel in the morning. The foam is the real deal — it actually molds to you without just sinking all the way down. And it bounces back, which I wasn't sure it would after reading some reviews on similar products. One thing I'll mention when I first opened it there was a bit of a smell and it took maybe 2-3 hours to fully expand. The listing does warn you about this so it wasn't a surprise, just leave it out for a bit before using it and you're good. Been using it for about 3 weeks now across the bed, couch, and even my home office floor during stretches. Still looks and feels exactly the same as day one. Genuinely happy with this purchase. Absolutely in love, as somebody who suffers from thoracic outlet syndrome and is a chronic side sleeper, this pillow is a game changer, I needed something that would force me to sleep on my back and not make me uncomfortable. So far so amazing. It is a very firm pillow, but as somebody who absolutely adores a firm mattress, this was so amazing. The only downside to it is that I needed a small pillow to support my neck a bit more as I am a 6'3 individual and for anybody on the slightly smaller portion I would say would be perfectly fine with it.     • Rock-hard spray foam, sickening smell
Okay, let's get this straight here: This is NOT memory foam. Maybe I'm the only one who got a product like this, but likely I'm not and some people don't know what memory foam is. Memory foam is notable because it conforms to the shape of whatever puts pressure on it, and then retains that impression for a few seconds once the pressure is removed. It is firm, but not hard, and when you put your hand on it, it should sink noticeably. THIS CUSHION IS NOT THAT. Okay? Do not listen to the people saying it is. What THIS cushion is, is clearly industrial spray foam that was squirted into a mold (and very sloppily, at that). It is almost rock-hard. And if firmness is your kick, that's great, but don't call it memory foam. And all of that might be fine, where I'm concerned, except for one huge thing. THIS. CUSHION. REEKS. I mean...I wish I could describe how it smells outside "industrial", but I need you to understand how nauseating it is, as someone who's not usually bothered by smells. I bought this about two weeks ago now. It has lived outside, until it started raining, and then we moved it into our garage, and now it's back outside. TWO WEEKS AND IT STILL MAKES ME WANT TO PUKE. The garage stinks of it, now. Okay? The entire. Garage. I would happily return this in a minute, except in my misguided optimism, I washed the cover and the little mini pillow. Dear reader, even the cover couldn't be rescued from the outgasing. I used baking soda and vinegar with my unscented detergent. It smells like the cushion. My washer had to have a clean cycle run to get the smell out. I do not know where all these positive reviews are coming from. If this product was, at one time, made the way it says it was and they cheaped out; if maybe they source from different places with different methods? Bought and paid for? I don't know. The pillow itself is comfortable and provides good support for my neck and lower back. The size is great, and I like the multi-position design. However, when I first received it, there was a very strong unpleasant smell. Even after washing and drying the cover, the odor remained. It took about five months of airing out before the smell finally disappeared. I hope the manufacturer can improve this issue in the future. Nice and firm ergonomic wedge pillow. It is nice to lay down or sit on in different positions. There is a slight odor, however, it disappears after a few days. You can take out the cover and wash it.
