This ergonomic memory foam wedge has become one of my most-used items. The 27° angle is perfect for reading or sitting up in bed without that awkward slumped posture. It supports my upper body really well and also works great when I need leg elevation. The memory foam is firm enough to hold its shape but still comfortable, and the anti-slip base keeps it from sliding around on the mattress.     • Rock-hard spray foam, sickening smell
Okay, let's get this straight here: This is NOT memory foam. Maybe I'm the only one who got a product like this, but likely I'm not and some people don't know what memory foam is. Memory foam is notable because it conforms to the shape of whatever puts pressure on it, and then retains that impression for a few seconds once the pressure is removed. It is firm, but not hard, and when you put your hand on it, it should sink noticeably. THIS CUSHION IS NOT THAT. Okay? Do not listen to the people saying it is. What THIS cushion is, is clearly industrial spray foam that was squirted into a mold (and very sloppily, at that). It is almost rock-hard. And if firmness is your kick, that's great, but don't call it memory foam. And all of that might be fine, where I'm concerned, except for one huge thing. THIS. CUSHION. REEKS. I mean...I wish I could describe how it smells outside "industrial", but I need you to understand how nauseating it is, as someone who's not usually bothered by smells. I bought this about two weeks ago now. It has lived outside, until it started raining, and then we moved it into our garage, and now it's back outside. TWO WEEKS AND IT STILL MAKES ME WANT TO PUKE. The garage stinks of it, now. Okay? The entire. Garage. I would happily return this in a minute, except in my misguided optimism, I washed the cover and the little mini pillow. Dear reader, even the cover couldn't be rescued from the outgasing. I used baking soda and vinegar with my unscented detergent. It smells like the cushion. My washer had to have a clean cycle run to get the smell out. I do not know where all these positive reviews are coming from. If this product was, at one time, made the way it says it was and they cheaped out; if maybe they source from different places with different methods? Bought and paid for? I don't know. Really comfortable and supportive wedge pillow. The memory foam feels firm but still comfortable. I love building LEGO on the floor, but sitting for a long time can get pretty uncomfortable. The pillow itself is comfortable and provides good support for my neck and lower back. The size is great, and I like the multi-position design. However, when I first received it, there was a very strong unpleasant smell. Even after washing and drying the cover, the odor remained. It took about five months of airing out before the smell finally disappeared. I hope the manufacturer can improve this issue in the future. I mostly use this to play Switch 2 on handheld when laying on stomach in bed. Before this; i would have to put pressure on my elbows. After an hour+ gaming session my fingers (notably my pinky and ring fingers) will get numb due to nerve pressure point. It eventually goes away after a few minutes but very uncomfortable experience With this there is still pressure when using. Not sure if its because I'm a guy and don't have breasts for cushion, but majority of the stress is now placed on my chest when i get off it/stop playing. Lasts less than 30 seconds but its better than the finger numbness. Its way too firm; which it was more like memory foam Can use it for intercourse. Can get way deeper penetration when laying on the slant with sensitive parts exposed in the air This pillow is HUGE. its about size of two standard pillows stacked on top of each other. Can take up a lot of space especially during storage. Comes vacuum sealed , so difficult to return When you first receive it; You'll need a few days for it to air out and expand. I left it out in the garage. If you live in an apartment, you can leave it next to open window. Need air ventilation ... show more
