This is a Great Row machine!!! The range of motion is excellent!! I'm 6'4" with long arms and this machine gives me a GOOD stretch!! The machine is sturdy also, especially since I weigh 330lbs. I would advise that you take your time when assembling it because it's diagram only! Pay close attention to the small diagram on page 3 when assembling the lower arms because IT IS critical!! Overall, this is a solid, sturdy machine that feels well built and takes up surprisingly little space in my home gym. It does require some experimentation with the seat position and body setup to properly target the intended back muscles, but once you dial it in, the movement feels very good. My biggest complaint is the strength curve. The resistance becomes noticeably easier near the top of the row, exactly where I want the most tension during the squeeze. I fixed this by adding bands, and the improvement was dramatic. The bands add resistance as the handles move back, creating a much better strength curve from the stretched position through the peak contraction. With that modification, I am a big fan of the machine. It is compact, stable, versatile, and now provides an excellent rowing movement. For the price point, I would rate this a strong buy for home gym enthusiast. ... show more

What you see is what you get. The seat post is a bit sloppy, but otherwise, this is a strong, quality product. As someone who's 6'2", I was skeptical about whether I could use this machine for low rows to target my lower lats. However, its multiple adjustment levels offer a great range of motion. The chest-supported row machine arrived in a reasonable timeframe, and the shipping process was smooth—no complaints there. Assembly instructions consist entirely of illustrations, which might seem daunting at first, but they’re clear enough to follow without much difficulty. Once assembled, the machine is sturdy and effective. I can feel it engaging my lats well during workouts, which is exactly what I wanted. The reason I gave this product four stars instead of five is due to a quirk in its resistance profile. As you pull the handles back to the end of the range of motion, the resistance drops by about 30%. I verified this using a luggage scale, both with and without a 45-pound weight. Refer to the photos I’ve included, which show the measured weight with bands and without bands. Adding bands significantly reduces this issue, and in some cases, it may even add a pound or two of resistance throughout the entire motion/rep. Just in case you’re wondering, I used these heavy black bands (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BTWC5D6L?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title). The brand isn’t as important as the size—this particular size works best for the machine and provides the most consistent resistance. Overall, I asked myself whether I’d purchase this machine again, and the answer is yes. While it’s not on par with the commercial-grade equipment you'd find in a gym, it’s a solid, budget-friendly option for a home workout that gets the job done. ... show more

This is my new favorite machine for back day. I get a killer stretch in my back and lats and the range of motion is awesome. I like the adjustability of the whole machine and really like the moving handles. The price was great and the size of the machine allows it to be put in a small location as long as you have room for your elbows to flair. ... show more
