I really love the color options on this alarm clock and the fact that it will dim when the lights in the room get turned off. I found that keeping it red instead of the other colors keeps my room dark enough without the glow coming from the clock like the other colors seem to have. The one thing I hate about it is that it's so hard to set the alarm. It isn't very intuitive and I find myself having to read the instructions all the time to figure it out. Real nice. Had a little trouble figuring out the am/pm opposed the military time, and make sure the Al(alarm is not lit up, you'll be sorry. Other than that it off 3 light setting options

I wanted an easy to read clock for my bedroom vanity that looked neat/tidy and didn't take up a large footprint. This clock is very lightweight and feels cheap... But it doesn't look cheap. What a little gem this is! I purchased the white. It's just the "look" I wanted and the dimensions are large enough to be clearly visible from all vantage points in the room without being obnoxiously large or intrusive. Update 2 years later : the little clock is still going strong! Decided to buy a second one for the spare room. The included instructions were easy to follow. You can manually set the brightness of the display to remain constantly on high, medium or low levels. The other feature: You can set it to "auto" so it can adjust to the brightness of the room automatically. A word about "auto" mode: You need to be sure you don't have anything obstructing the light sensor on the side, or else the sensor will think it's dark in the room and remain in low/dim mode. Being able to adjust the brightness level allows you more flexibility as to how far away you can put the clock without sacrificing clarity...or having it close to you on your nightstand without blinding you. I'd recommend this clock just based on the minimalist look of it, small footprint, clarity and the brightness controls. There are a few more extras I don't need at this time, but I appreciate having the options (basic alarm clock with a snooze feature and two USB charging ports). The clock needs to be powered by electricity in order to operate. A USB cord is included but the USB wall adapter is NOT included. I purchased the white clock and the USB cord was white as well (thankfully). You may get lucky and have a free USB port to plug into on your existing equipment, so check around (cable box, game console, tv, computer, charging station, router, etc). Otherwise, you need to power the clock by plugging the USB cord into a USB adapter, and plug the adapter into an available electrical outlet. An extra feature that I do find extremely handy: It does come with a backup battery installed. This battery has nothing to do with powering the clock and is just a memory backup feature. Meaning... If you unplug the clock from its power source or if the power goes out, it saves you from having to reset the time or alarm once you plug it back in or the power returns.     • Looks like a phone, not a wall clock!

This was meant to be a wall clock, but it's smaller than it looks - more like a phone than a clock! Plus weird battery/ power situation - basically, doesn't work unless it's plugged into a wall, which looks lame. Bummer.

    • Garbage product - does not work - and seller makes returns difficult

Garbage product & they make returns difficult. The alarm doesn't work. It's cheap but not worth any of the pennies. Bad tech for no reason and the return has to be back in a box, no drop offs to Amazon returns. They are deliberately trying to make returns difficult and that's gross.
