These are very useable but they are not finely finished.Cast iron is slightly rough and wood platters that fit beneath them could used more sanding and finish for the price.However, they are nice to serve a small lunch in. Much smaller than I expected. I will keep them, but not buy another set of 4.

Good heavy cast iron as you’d expect. The wood trays need to be a little better, they are a little rough and don’t feel or look professionally finished. If I was more concerned about it, I’d sand them down and refinish myself. Would be great if they came with something to pick them up with, like a shaped grabber or a small heat-proof mit, etc. ... show more
