    • A Well-Designed German Engineered Canister Vacuum Cleaner!
I studied the various Miele canister vacuums before making a decision which was the best fit and the best bang-for-the-buck. The Miele Complete C3 Limited Edition fit the bill. I received today. Easy to set up. I thought the vacuum was going to rip up the carpet, it was so powerful! It did a wonderful job cleaning both low pile carpet and hard flooring. This model shows as manufactured in Germany versus the lower level models made in China. I think my only complaint would be that the hose is made of the same plastics used on inexpensive vacuums. Fortunately replacement parts are easy to come by for the Miele (a problem that completely shut down my 20 year old Electrolux Oxygen, where the electrical element in the hose broke and they no longer make replacement parts for that vacuum. Replacement parts and accessories was a big selling point for Miele!). BTW, this model uses the Miele GN bags (which a rather expensive) but there are plenty of third party manufacturers for the GN type bags as well as vacuum accessories for the Miele Complete C3). Overall, I'm extremely happy with the cleaning efficiency of this model as well as the ability to reduce the level of dust expelled in the exhaust airflow. Wonderful German engineering! ... show more

Expensive but worth the price! Very high quality vacuum with a long cord. The bag feature is also great and way less messy for emptying than other types of vacuums.

Best vacuum I’ve ever used. I had been eyeing this Miele for years but always thought it was too expensive. I finally bought it with a Black Friday discount, and after using it once, I regretted all the years (and money) I spent on stick vacuums. It’s absolutely worth the price. The attachments are excellent, and I love that the wand is extendable. As a tall person, it’s a game changer—not having to bend over while vacuuming makes a huge difference. ... show more

    • Not the best!
This was to replace my old Miele, a great vacuum, but am disappointed. This is garbage, they made some horrible changes. The floor cleaner is HUGE like 4 inches as compared to the 2 and half on the old one. It leaves stuff on the carpet so I get out my stick Bissel (which is great) to pick up stuff the $500 piece of garbage doesn't. The floor brush on the old one had a switch built into the handle, very convenient to go from carpeting to floor but not on this one it is on the brush itself and to switch from carpet to floor I either have to smash it down with the heel of my foot or the heel of my hand, if it was to be easy, it isn't. So consider something else, this is not worth the money ... show more

Ok. I love this vacuum. This is hands down my favorite home purchase since we moved in December. The suction power is extreme. It works well on all of our different flooring surfaces including hardwood, area rugs, and carpet. I love that the cord is automatically retracting and very long. I wasn’t sure about using a vacuum with bags, but they hold so much and don’t have to be changed very often. It’s nice to know that anything that gets sucked up is trapped. I also love that there are filters. The whole system seems cleaner than a traditional vacuum. I use it everywhere. I literally can vacuum the walls. Definitely a splurge but worth it in my opinion. ... show more

    • Great vacuum, difficult to store neatly.
This vacuum is pretty great, though it leaves a few things to be desired. For the strengths, it has very good suction power, it has a large dust bag and stores a lot of dust, and is very easy to use. The easy coil power cord is helpful as well. The reason I am giving it four stars is because it doesn’t have anything included to help store the hose, so it sits awkwardly in the closet or wherever it’s stored. Second is it doesn’t include any additional dust bags which I think would be a nice addition. ... show more
