Generally speaking, if two people work together and carefully follow the instructions step by step, it can be completed in less than an hour. We also are willing to provide help anytime. How to transfer heat better? For smoking, charcoal is typically placed only in the side chamber, where the heat is transferred to the main chamber. The charcoal capacity for the side chamber is 1.5 lbs at most. For grilling, no more than 4.4 lbs is better for the main part. Does it have a temperature gauge? Yes. the offset smoker has a built-in standing temperature gauge that indicates temperature changes instantly and is positioned away from the grill body for durability. We also provide service if any other parts arrive damaged. What is the offset smoker made of? As for the cooking grates & warming rack, it is made of porcelain-enameled cast iron. The main body and lid is a kind of heavy-duty steel construction for better heat preservation. Does it come with a cover? No, the smoker grill does not come with a cover included. Cover it when not in use, especially during rain or humid seasons. If storing for winter, ensure it's completely dry first and kept in a covered area. 2 wheels design is easy to move inside. About the assembly.

Haven't used it yet, assume it'll work fine. Regarding assembly... I'm not that handy, though I've assembled a lof of furniture and the like. Did it alone, took me at least five hours spread over a couple of days. I was able to follow the visual instructions, though I had to squint at them a lot, but I'd say an hour of the time was spent figuring things out and finding things. The components are not labeled, as I've seen with other products. Most annoying is the collection of nuts and bolts, which are in a package that's a pain to get open. You need to do it very carefully so you don't drop anything or tear the number labels. Mainly, the visual instructions just give you a letter for the nut or bolt, and you have to constantly flip pages of the manual back and forth to find what the letter represents, then find the thing in the not all that helpful package with the small print. I'm amazed I didn't lose anything. The last thing I assembled like this, every size of nut and bolt came in its own little clearly labeled package, and the instructions took you right there. Finally, there's a certain amount of things you just have to figure out for yourself. I thought I was two bolts short on a handle, according to the instructions, then discovered that the bolts were built into the handle. Etc. Otherwise, so far I'm pleased with it. ... show more

Don’t buy it

Terrible product The paint is melting and landing on my meat so I can’t use the cooker .. Also it’s falling on my patio so I have to pressure wash the paint. The paint only lasted 10 times I cooked.

Great Smoker Grill

I chose this smoker for its smoking function and then it perfromed well at last. You just putting charcoal in the side smoker for a better heat transfer effect if you also prefer smoking.

Annoying packaging

My grill arrived and I was so excited to assemble and get cooking. The instructions said assembly time was 40 min. Little did I know this was just the time it would take to unpack everything. (The attached photo is of the hardware, which alone took almost 15 minutes). Each piece was wrapped in foam paper and that foam paper was wrapped in thick packing tape. EACH! AND! EVERY! PIECE! Once unpacked the grill was pretty easy as long as you didnt try to follow the instructions as they were just drawings with no step by step. Now fortunately I am pretty handy and didnt need them, however if you're not very good with tools, this could be very challenging. As for the product itself, so far so good (one meal prepared) ... show more
