Had to toss out most of the parts due to no being compatible. The mounting bracket required extensive modification. In the end the ignitor, thermocouple and pilot were all I really needed so my flame table is working again.

    • Pilot tip not allowing gas to flow

Pilot nozzle tip did not allow gas to flow. I tried blowing 120 psi air though tip hole to clear it and reinstalled. Still no gas flowing. End up drilling a hole in the nozzle tip with smallest drill bit I had. Gas flowed after drilling hole but it was to much flow and pilot was more like a small weed burner flame and now it is junk unless I can find a tip at a local hardware store. ... show more

I have one of these in an outdoor fire pit. I don't understand why they chose to have this design have zinc and brass touch each other in a moving part designed for outdoor use. It rapidly corrodes if wet or humid locking the valve shut. Please replace the zinc with brass or make the assembly out of stainless steel.
