UPDATE: Just days after installing this hose, the hose broke from the connection at the hose bib. I ordered a replacement, hoping this one will last. If not, I'll update my review. After using the heavy rubber hoses and the material hoses, I thought I'd try this one. So far, so good! The connections, without over tightening, were leakless on the first try. I'm more impressed though with the weight of this hose. I bought the 100' version and not only does it store like a 25' or 50' rubber hose but is probably lighter. I love the flexibility, without having to untangle it. I'm hoping what will be most impressive is its longevity/durability. I only just received it so I can't comment on that.

Drag this around the house to water plants and do cleaning outside the house. Has held up to all the pulling and stretching. Tangle free is so nice over the old hoses. Winds up smoothly. Not heavier than the old rubber hoses. Just pulls out and back smoothly. No stretching of rings or separation leaks as the old metal hoses used to do. Takes the corners without flattening and kinking cutting the water flow. Very pleased with this new hose.

There are a plethora of hoses available everywhere. The choice retracting or not, heavy vs light, rubber vs metal, which length and lastly the price. Based on my needs this hose fit the bill. It is weather proof, anti-tangle, easy to handle, powerful spray action, easy to assemble, and the length is really great. Finally, I caught it on sale, Prime free delivery PLUS same day delivery by 9pm. When I looked out my door that night, it was on my front porch, WOW!

I am a big time gardener, having a quality hose makes my life a lot easier (and cheaper in the long run). This is the best hose I have found so far. Previous normal green hoses have kink issues, or the connectors wear out and start spraying water, etc. I tried the expandable/retractable ones for a while and they were okay but they had two major cons: 1) The outlet pressure is lower since it is using some of its head pressure to keep the hose expanded. This was a big deal to me because I use sprinklers to water a large garden and they just don't reach nearly as far due to the reduced pressure 2) They puncture easily. I just grazed a rose bush with it while pressurized one time and the think pretty much instantly popped and deflated into a sad pile of dead hose on the ground and had to go straight into the trash. I did that twice and decided I was done with those hoses. This stainless steel hose has none of those problems. It doesn't kink, and it doesnt break. I've accidentally stepped on it or run it over with a wheelbarrow countless times and it is unphased. The only con which makes it not have 5 stars is that it is much more rigid than your other hose options. That's a good thing for the reasons stated above, but it can be a bit of a pain when it comes to untangling it if it gets all jumbled up, or putting it back into some sort of storage device. It's probably fine if you use one of those rollers and I may have to switch to one of those.

This metal hose restricted water flow to the point it would be laughable if I didn’t need it to deliver water to my plants. It’s a hundred foot hose. Immediately pressure was so low it took twice as long to get far less than half as much water on my plants, and by the time I was 45 feet away from the spigot it was barely more than a dribble that wouldn’t deliver a few droplets more than 3” away from the nozzle end if at all. This is a product fail. I could fill a watering can and save a significant amount of time over using this, and that’s not the purpose of owning a hose. Not an acceptable nor advertised amount of water pressure loss, bad tool, will return and get a different one before my plants die. God forbid you need it to help put out a fire..or get a sufficient amount of water to your plants..or run a sprinkler. Don’t waste your time and money.

These actually don't kink! Bro it makes life so much easier. Yes they get tangled but that water will still run. So yeah, you still got to untangle it to get the reach but if you can reach then it doesn't matter that they get tangled. A game changer! Can clean my car AND water my plants without wasting the time unkinking it.
