I bought this hose after having to replace my fabric, flexible garden hose every year. I loved how light they were but they never seemed to last more than a season for me before starting to leak or getting into knots. This is very frustrating considering I need 2, 200 foot hoses. Anyway, I decided to give this stainless steel hose a try. I am so happy I did. It is very durable, doesn’t get hot in the sun, and is easy to use. I don't normally write reviews; and when I do, it's usually with a sense of obligation and not a whole lot of enthusiasm. This product is by far the exception to that rule. I can honestly say I have rarely enjoyed a purchase as much as I am enjoying this 150 ft piece of hose. It is wonderful. It delivers exactly what the description says it will. It's super lightweight, there have been no kinks or tangles, and it reels in quickly,easily, and neatly. It won't flatten out on the reel like my rubber hose did. Also, I wasn't sure I'd even be interested in the nozzle that comes with it, but I really like that too. All of the settings will be useful for various tasks. This evening I washed all of the windows on the back of my house in less than 20 minutes using this hose and sprayer, along with another great product: the Windex outdoor all in one glass cleaning tool. The hose is going to come in so handy, especially for cleaning my bird baths. Because my new hose is so quick and easy to use, the birds and other wildlife will get fresh water every day now. My reel is only supposed to hold 100 ft. of rubber hose , but I could easily fit more than the 150 footer I bought. I used to dread dragging my old rubber hoses all the way out to the edge of my property on days when I would burn leaves. This fall it should be a breeze with this new one! The only regret I have is that I didn't buy this years ago. I could have saved myself a lot of frustration, time, energy, and money! Works well, no issues with low water pressure, no kinking! If it’s 50 feet or longer it’ll get tangled when you drag if it’s laying on the ground haphazardly. I wouldn’t recommend yanking it around hard sharp corners, or pulling around corners of old wood, like sheds for example, for fear of the metal shredding the wood. The hose is excellent. Lightweight, easy to manage and can be stored in a hose reel or flung over wall holder. No kinks or knotting. I bought 2 of these and am very pleased. The bad news is that the sprayers leak at the hose connection. I bought Melnor sprayers and use them instead.

    • A superior garden hose
I had one of those expandable hoses that everyone raves about - I liked that it was easier to haul around than the standard hose. Unfortunately, it sprang not one, but two leaks! I tried repairing it to no avail. Don't buy those! My research led me to a stainless steel hose. I couldn't imagine it being easy to manipulate, carry around, coil, and so forth. But, I took the chance anyway, and am so happy I did! It makes a very nice connection at the hose bib - it came with two rubber washers, which I didn't even have to use (but will keep.) It's flexible, easy to use, lightweight, and seems like a winner for me. I got the 100' length, which is very helpful. The wand I have connected perfectly - no leaks. One thing to note is that, upon your first use, you just might want to stretch it out in its entirety BEFORE turning on the water. I neglected to do this and had a silver, squirming snake on my hands. Subsequently, this was not an issue. I could not be happier with this garden hose, and have high expectations for it. I'm thinking its construction will allow it to be dragged about without getting punctured by something on the ground. ... show more
