  • Merach is the best...
Style: S08 Next-generation Recumbent Bike
Great price. Not a bunch of extra BS you don't need. Easy to put anywhere. Easy to tuck away when not using if you want. Easy to assemble. Like the heart rate monitor. Very sturdy. It just looks like no BS. If you want to read my babbling on. I bought this because I own an under desk pedaler from Merach. Love the Magnetic Resistance. The price was too good on this to pass it up. I left the gym membership. Got everything at home now. I'm rehabilitating from heart failure, cardiovascular disease, and an amputated left foot. Spent months walking wrong on crutches. Just to make up for the pain in the prosthetic. Close to walking on my own. Working with a physical therapist. Weak hips biggest problem. I mentioned to her about a recumbent bike. All she said was; Yes! This thing works my outer upper legs and inside of knees well. It's what I need. I also have a roller for my regular bike. Gee...I've gotten older. Don't like sitting on that seat for long. This seat is great. I'm very happy with this. Look forward to many workouts on it. ... show more

  • So easy my 14 year old installed it
Style: S23 Next-generation Recumbent Bike
I researched a lot before buying. Finally Chatgpt suggested this bike for quiet operation and i am happy i did... Its gr8 value for money. Perfect for small spaces. Easy to install. My 14 year old installed it. We went at a slow n steady pace with breaks ..took us 1.5 hour . Instructions are so easy and quality is very good. Not like imported tacky stuff. See pics. Installing seat is a bit tedious and when you get to the screen monitor you have to remove the screws from the little monitor and connect the display to the bike . After 2 days of riding it for an hour each day I feel the seat could be better quality..my butt hurts a bit..I am looking for a gel cushion.. ... show more

  • Good bike, quiet ride great investment
Style: S08 Recumbent Bike
Ok first - there is a video how to put this bike together. Strongly advise to watch. It went together fairy smooth and easier if have second person. Second- it is a comfortable seat, easy to adjust up and down or forward and back. It is placed on a sold base bar but held on by 4 short bolt screws underneath. I am concerned they will strip out of the seat itself later. Not much to screw into. But can adjust to any height person. Third- pedaling is very smooth and no noise! Making watching tv with family while pedaling a breeze. Can change to fit small or large feet. Looks sharp draws people to want to try it out. The Verdict- I wanted a bike that wasn’t going to break the bank that I could use while recovering from an injury. But I found a bike I love even after I recovered. I definitely think it’s worth the money and I guess we’ll just see how sturdy the chair is as we go. ... show more

This is a wonderful bike. It helps with my recovery from total knee replacement. It doesn't take up too much space, and has everything I need. It is sturdy and does not move at all. The bluetooth works great. Easy to put together. I highly recommend it.

  • Good for post knee replacement therapy
Style: S08 15.6" FHD Rotating Display
My wife had one of her knees replaced in January. Part of her rehab was using a ROM Bike at home. These are specialized machines that tie into your home network and connect to the ROM Tech PT people. They check in on the patient every so often and monitor your progress. When my wife wrapped up her rental term, she thought this type of unit was very helpful in her recovery. When she thought she wanted to buy this type of machine I told her to check with the medical rental company to see if they sold these after a time (like a demo or loaner car). They don't since it is 1) a DME and you need a prescription to get one and 2) it is proprietary technology. Oh well. So, we started looking at recumbent bikes and eventually she thought this would work best for her. So, enough backstory. I don't know where Merach got the 30-minute assembly time they mention in the listing. Heck, it took two of us 30 minutes just to unpack this thing. The bike is extremely well packaged. It is like a jigsaw puzzle. Lots of Styrofoam, tape and wire ties. I don't have any idea how Merach gets it packed in the first place. That said, this bike comes in a large box and it did arrive without shipping damage, Assembly a took over an hour. Now we went slow as we followed the manual step by step. Ii is easy to follow, but I wish the printing was larger to make it easy to read. Merach supplies all the tools needed - two Allen wrenches and a mulit-tool, which is appreciated, but my suggestion would be to break out your socket wrench and a power screwdriver to make life easier. Another suggestion is to use a piece of tape to hold the carriage bolts when attached the feet. The third thing is that the power cord plugs in at the lower left corner of the flywheel assembly. I di not see mention of this in the manual or on the Merach support page. My wife googled it and found the information one some website. The default display set-up is nice and gives all the information she wants. We use Pixel 1o phones so according the Merach these phones will not interface with the bike. I use an iPad so we will have to load the apps listed in the manual and figure out how to use the iPad with this bike. Sigh0 Now that we have this up and running, she uses this bike three to five times a day. She had to adjust the seat a couple of times before she was happy with the arrangement. She feels that that bike is stable, and she feels secure when using it. I would definitely recommend this bike given my wife's approval of the bike. ... show more

  • MY NEW BEST FRIEND
Style: S08 Recumbent Bike
Love this small, inexpensive, simple recumbent bike. Due to arthritis, scoliosis and other back problems, I am unable to walk very far so I needed an affordable piece of exercise equipment that I could use for a few minutes per session several times daily. Here's what I love: 1) it has rollers on the front so I can push it around myself when I want to change locations. 2) it has a simple, easy to use display 3) the display is battery operated so I can set up anywhere - no need to be by a power outlet 4) it was very affordable. 5) whisper quiet Yes, as others have mentioned, the back and seat cushions could be cushier (easy to adjust to your desire with towels or thin cushions), and the pedal guards aren't the greatest, but for $179, it really is an amazing little piece of equipment. ... show more

  • Compact and quiet 🤫
Style: S08 Recumbent Bike
I've only owned this bike for a few days, so far, I am pleased. I purchased this bike because I am out of shape, overweight, suffered a knee injury and have minimal space. I initially planned to purchase an upright stationary bike but resisted because no seat looked comfortable enough to handle my tush and because I am so out of habit of exercising, sitting up was just not appealing to me. This bike caught my eye and I am so glad that it did! I am 5'7, 300 lbs- I suffer from ailments that chain me to minimal movement for months at a time which has caused an adverse domino effect on my health. I needed something to encourage a healthier me without leaving my home and remaining in the room that is safest for me- my room. My room is a descent size but I own a queen size bed which takes up a lot of space. This bike sits comfortably at the foot of my bed next to a chair with a descent amount of space on either side of the bike and in front of the bike. I'm so sold! I appreciate the fact that I can comfortably lean back while riding and the bars offer more stability. Sitting straight up is uncomfortable at this stage of my getting healthier, ya know. Adjusting the seat according to your height and comfort is simple, as well as controlling the resistance. If you prefer to lean forward while cycling, the bars in front should be comfortable, but honey I have too much fupa for all that right now! The cup holder is a bit of a reach but maybe that's to encourage a consistent workout. I don't know. The display is nice and easy to read and control. The moment you begin peddling, the monitor begins tracking your session. I do not use the app to maintain my sessions as I use my phone or watch to track. This bike is a win, win! Not too long, the resistance settings encourage easy difficulty, it's stable and the peddles are comfortable, even barefoot- but I'm country and enjoy walking outside barefoot! Another plus is the silence. Sometimes when I'm unable to sleep at night, I hope on for a few moments and the session does not disturb my family in other rooms if the house and I can comfortably watch and listen to my television! The assembly. It was not terribly challenging but having a person to help makes the assembly even smoother. I could not for the life of me figure out how to attach the monitor bar with the cord but learned that the cord belonged inside bar. Once I figured that out, it was smooth sailing. All of the hardware including the needed tools are included and easily installed. This is a great investment. Comfortable and fulfills its purpose! ... show more
