I like the ease of inflating and deflating. Get one like this that has a deflation knob or you’ll be sorry! Quality material. Holds air well. Stand alone for an inflatable, it’s pretty comfortable but let’s be realistic, it’s a blow up mattress not a sleep number bed! Put a down a 4 inch thick memory foam cover on top and it literally is more comfortable than my adjustable bed. It stores small and easily folds up. Great purchase.

Since we downsized, we needed/wanted a king size air mattress for when our son and daughter-in-law come to visit—something we could put away when they leave and still have the spare room for our needs— home gym/office. They extended their stay and I don’t think they are leaving... they couldn’t believe this was an air mattress and said it was as comfortable as their own bed— my son spares no expense when purchasing furniture , so that is saying something!! I did get a nice combo mattress pad/topper and nice Egyptian cotton sheets, but the firmness of this bed is just right. We inflated the mattress 5 days before they arrived and the smell of ‘new air mattress’ dissipated within 2 days. We inflated it during that time per the instructions to accommodate the stretch in the air mattress material and it firms up perfectly with about 15 seconds of additional air pressure. They slept on it and it needed another 15 seconds of air pressure after about 2 days, and then again 2 days later. I don’t think- due to the newness of this mattress, that I would consider that too much maintenance. My son is a big guy—250 lbs of muscle and his wife is average size about 130 lbs— the bed makes absolutely zero noise getting on or off— Sounds like a normal bed. And there was no bouncing when either one rolled over. Bottom line— this bed is of exceptional quality, we are super pleased with our purchase! —-except, it may be just a little TOO comfortable!!!! **We did have a problem with the 1st bed sent to us...I wrote this review, but hadn't submitted it yet, about the 5th day of the our kids' arrival, the bed deflated in the middle of the night. We were mortified, but we did find the leak, it was a defect in the seam. As far as I'm concerned, these things happen. We took a few pictures, called the customer service # and they were SO KIND and HELPFUL!! They sent us a bed right away, the kids slept on sofas for a few nights. We had a new bed in less than a week. My daughter-in-law said she loved the smell--it reminded her of camping with air mattresses as a kid--LMAO. So it all worked out and I don't know what to say about the other bad reviews but, I can only speak to my experience. The kids decided to move back to the area and their new home would not be ready for another month. The new bed was awesome, ZERO PROBLEMS. A month after they left, we had another guest, my husband's brother, a 6'3" man of about 275 lbs. Bed was great, he said he wasn't leaving either!!! Great product and amazing customer service!

This product is excellent. We are using it while we temporarily remodel. Its very sturdy and firm, stayed inflated over a week so far (no air leaking) and very comfortable. There is only one minor discomfort I am working around. There is a rim around the edges and then you sink in middle. The rim is about an inch higher than the rest of the bed all around. Maybe thats intentional to keep a person or a child from falling or rolling off? It might be a good thing for some people but I find it annoying. However I solved it by buying a memory foam topper which I would have purchased anyway with any new bed and that did the trick. I would buy again. It inflated super super fast. The easiest bed to assemble I ever had in an inflatable.

Wife fell down stairs and broke ankle. I needed a quick fix for providing her a bed downstairs because she cannot climb stairs with a cast on. The air mattress arrived within three days, was very easy to setup and inflate. It was very comfortable. This would have been a five-star review other than the fact that every day I had to inflate the bed more often. Within four to five days of use the bed would lose at least 20 to 25 percent of it pressure making it very difficult for my wife to get up and off the bed. I was adding air two to three times a day. I plan on buying another of the same product and sending this one back for a refund after I get the new bed. I cannot afford to be without the bed for now. Update: 4/12/2021 After calling the toll free customer support number for King Koil, they agreed that my mattress was not working properly and with a few emails of information they sent a new mattress with no charge or request for return of the old mattress. The new mattress was sent overnight delivery and I wanted to make sure it worked before updating my review. The replacement works better than advertised and their customer support is better than 5 stars. A very good product and company to make purchases with. (Update) 19 May 2021: I have had the air mattress for over a month now and the wife, with her ankle issues, is still sleeping downstairs. What I am truly amazed with is the fact I only need to add air about every three days or so. This bed is turned out to be a real blessing and great deal. I still recommend the extra three foam mattress for added comfort I also bought to sit on top of this mattress. Wife loves the bed. Update July 19 2021: Wife still sleeping on mattress until this last weekend when a tear opened up near a seam. We patched the hole, but it continued leaking. Added a larger patch but bed is leaking somewhere else and we can't find the leak. After reading more national reviews I hear King Koil has quality issues with the beds lasting. The bed did last for about three months. Over timer the inner seams came undone and the bed took on a bloated look. until the tear happened. This is our last King Koil. Need something more dependable. Would not recommend this bed and have ordered a SoundAsleep Dream series bed with better reviews. King Koil has good customer service, just not a dependable air mattress in my opinion. Thank You King Koil!
