Just received this a day ago. I can tell the difference in height with this 1. So far everything is fine. Only had to put in screw and put rubber shoes on it. Which took about a min to do all. Haven't tried the resistance bands yet. The 1 and only thing I don't like is when you step down it makes a low bump sound. That's too be expected. From the few I have tried, they all do that.

Special Notes - shocks do get very hot do not go past 20 min you WILL damage them from too much heat - you will have to use some sort of lubrication on the wheel. I recommend silicone paste, good for plastic and resists heat pretty well (if you want it to last do it 1 to 3 months if using it often. - says is rated for 330 lbs but the actual stepper itself says the max is 243 lbs. I'm 260 and it works well. This is a solid option for a mini stair stepper. I've been using the for about 3 months almost every day and have yet to have a problem with it. The quality of the stairs is good. The welds look clean. The rubber feet on the bottom grip on just about any surface. Carpet, wood, stone, nylon, etc. The mini LCD screen has yet to give me any problems. The shocks are holding up very well I'm a hefty man (260) I haven't felt anything off about them. The adjustability is limited though and frustrating. It's easy because it's a nob but you have to turn it so much and get little difference. I just found it easier to turn it in and work backward to my comfort zone. I personally just left it in. The workout is good. I use it almost every morning for about 15min and it is a GOOD workout for the hams and the knees. I have torn my meniscus so PT for my knee is very important to get it back to full strength. As for the noise you do start to hear the shocks after they get nice and warmed up and you also hear the bottom hit the base once you're in full swing. The LCD screen is nice and simple and gives you reps, time, calories, and reps per minute. Scan pretty flashes to all those for a few seconds then goes to the next and keeps going til you stop and it auto shuts off. The only thing I dislike about it is the plastic you have to step on has no grip at all. if you try it with socks or bare feet it will not be a good experience. I didn't use resistance bands for any arm workout since I mainly use them for my knee.

Sturdy compact size. Easy to set up. Kind of a pain in the butt to adjust and you have to be at a certain speed for it to record your steps

So far my only complaint is being as large as I am, finding balance of this cam be difficult, but I live in a 3rd floor apartment so the fact it makes no noise is great! Very easy to assemble! I would say this is a great item for the cost money wise. Performance wise I haven't had a chance to see much results yet!

I love this so much!! I am on a journey to lose 20 pounds, and I’ve been trying to get 10k steps in a day. But finding the time to do that while being a stay at home mom with two kids can be difficult. I’ve had a treadmill before, but it just took up way to much space and was heavy to move around. This is absolutly perfect!! It counts your steps for you, and even comes with little arm resistance bands which is great becuase my arms are one of my biggest insecurities. It truly is a great workout.. I sweat and can feel it after just a few minutes. Excited for results while I continue to use this. Highly recommend!!!
