My cat is terribly picky and has previously never been convinced to even step INTO another automatic litter box. After reading reviews for this one, I decided to give it a try. He used it the first day! I was ecstatic, and it had cut down on litter maintenance making my life much easier. I have found that a combination of normal clumping litter like Purina mixed with a bit of tapioca cat litter works best to clump up and lessen mess. My cat pees like a racehorse, so he needs something super absorbent and the addition of the tapioca in the litter forms dryer clumps faster, keeping the litter from sticking to the rake. The size is just right and the features on the app make cleaning the box out and managing litter routines a breeze. Super simple to use and efficient, if a little louder than I expected. For the value though, it's perfect! I highly recommend

Works fine but is extremely loud and slow, do not keep it anywhere near where you sleep - Update changed to 1 star does not even clean properly with fecal matter stuck on the rake and unable to clean it properly for return

This litter robot is fine. None are perfect, so the 4 stars is on a sliding scale. It does the job and I will keep it, but here are the pros and cons Pros: Unlike most, the app works well Top open box is most liked by my cat. The front loading ones are only for tiny cats and encourages them to kick litter everywhere. This keeps it fairly contained. Cons It’s loud. Like really, really loud. But you can schedule it for do not disturb mode. This is good because it will disturb your sleep even sevra rooms away. A lot of clean litter ends up in the bin. This means that not only does it fill up quickly (3 days is pushing it) but a lot of litter is wasted. The Andes not tell you when the bin is full, as the post says it does. The main basin is rather shallow and the wet little sticks to it, often preventing a proper clean. Make sure you are using properly fitting bags or it’ll be a mess All in all it requires a lot of supervision, which is what a robot is hoping to avoid.

I've been using this automatic litter box for a week, and I'm glad to see that my cat is now completely comfortable using it. It's easy to set up, runs quietly, and keeps the litter clean without the need for daily scooping. I also like how the design helps control odor. The area stays fresher compared to a traditional litter box.

We have 3 cats and have had a different automated cat litter box in the past that finally quit on us. We have 3 litter boxes and they are all using this one more than the others. So far, this one does trigger everytime it gets used to clean after the cat. It is not as noisy as our last one when cleaning, but there is a little noise which is to be expected. Our litter bin fills up quickly with 3 cats using it and it sends reminders to empty the bin as it gets full. We are having to empty it daily or it stops cleaning as well once it gets about 1/2 full. The litter pan itself is shallow with lower walls. Our cats haven't been messy in the past, but they are getting litter outside the box regularly now so much that I moved a dustpan and broom to stay next to the box. We've also noticed the odor from the litterbox more right after they use it because they can't cover it as well. It's fine for an additional litter box, but with the mess they are making I probably would look for one with higher walls if this one ever stops working.

I’ve been using this automatic self-cleaning litter box for a couple of months, and it works well. What I really appreciate is the thoughtful design. The cleaning mechanism mimics how a person would scoop litter: the rake moves all the way to the end, pushes waste into the trash bin, then moves back and scoops again to make sure everything is collected thoroughly. This makes the cleaning feel more complete than other automatic litter boxes I’ve tried. The attached video shows this design in action. It was recorded before I started using the litter box—now it’s a bit dirty, so I thought it would be better to show it clean. One improvement I’d like to see is a fully enclosed design. That way, I wouldn’t need to stand nearby to make sure my cat doesn’t try to use it while it’s cleaning.

I'm so frustrated and disappointed in this considering the cost. I bought this for my elderly father who has dementia and can no longer manage a litter box. I'm there 2xs a week but cannot go every day to clean the box and his cat will not use his box if it hasn't been cleaned up yet. So, I'm frustrated as I needed the setup to be easy and quick, which it's not been... First observation, the wire "scooping" metal part is actually tarnished, almost rusting - fresh out of the box, delivered today!!! It does not seem super sturdy to me as far as the working mechanics go,so I can't imagine this thing working for over a year - if were lucky. Hoping im wrong about that. Also, the waste bin is smaller than I expected - I can't imagine it holding a weeks worth of kitty waste. The worst part so far - SET-UP... The setup in and of itself is very simple and self-explanatory. However, the problem is the app and the fact that you can't operate its automated functioning (the entire point of buying an automated Litter box) without wifi. With my 5G cell phone, it simply cannot connect the app and the box in order to sync up. Further, the app you have to download would not allow me to register and make our account using my number. Once I tried using email, it finally worked but again, I still can't setup its automated features without internet connection. I'll get the wifi password tomorrow to try again from his facility, but it Def will not work using my phones internet. It says it needs 2.4G and my cell is 5G so technically it should work, no??? I shouldnt have to worry about that. Its been SUPER frustrating!!! I assume that anytime the internet goes out, too, it won't work and will have to be reset again... ?? I'll update this review once I try the building's wifi. Otherwise, it seems as though it should work ok I guess - we shall see. A positive - it appears it will be fairly easy to take apart to clean. Again, wondering if I'll have to reset it everytime I wash the bin etc UPDATE: Not worth it. Should have gone with a different brand/make/model that was more durable. Just hard to tell durability online. It does such a bad job at scooping and it was a ridiculous process trying to setup, I recommend something else if you're considering this one. I'm contacting customer service to get money back, it's that terrible. Pro: The height is good for our elderly cat. He is easily able to get in and out just fine.
