It's difficult to install, but it's possible. If the brackets need trimming, that's also possible. Overall, I had a lot of fun and tested my construction mindset to make it possible. In any case, I'm glad I have this product.

5 stars for the design. The quality of materials is generally great except for the fabric. The use of this awning is to leave it open to beat the sun and retract it during the winter. It also allows to open the window during the evening to let the cool air. -1 star for the polyester material. We won’t expect it last more a year or two. The polyester degrades in the UV. -1 star for the instructions. The side arms installation is not quite easy. ... show more

This is a high quality product for the money. Other awnings will cost $300-$500. This awning is very functional and seems to be made well. The measurements are not accurate on this item, and THERE IS NO RETURN POLICY IF YOU OPEN IT. This is important. If you open your package, notice the measurements are wrong, you CANNOT RETURN IT. Note: Amazon will let you print a return label, but the third part seller can deny the return, or partially refund. So you will end up with no item, and still pay for the full price. GO ELSEWHERE! Very pleased with this awning. Got it as a replacement for an existing worn out awning. This one is much better quality and ab out 1/4 the price of old one purchased locally. Waiting for a matching larger one to come back in stock to go over a door. Called the company and they actually returned my call and were very friendly saying more would be in stock soon.
