It’s actually a really nice table for what it’s built to be. Worth the price difference. I too was in the debate about spending $200 vs the various cheaper small travel tables when buying yet another quick travel table. I’ve bought sold and used a lot of light smaller tables outside of whatever main bigger table I own. I’ve moved a lot; sold a lot of tables or bought to be delivered to seminars and left them as gift etc or international travel so I’ve seen a lot of tables. This is a travel table meant to be light and it is lighter. On the aluminum legs; the paint finish again is dark and attractive color with a durable finish and quality hardware .. it’s definitely a step up from what the 70-90$ or 125$ tables are out there so between the quality covering thickness of material and the quality quick adjustment aluminum legs with durable paint and hardware in a lighter narrow table , this is what you’re paying for in its price compared to others. The padding and board backing are thin and light. It is quite thin padding .. don’t let me scare you off I like this table for alot of reasons please read on . The material covering is durable and thick and makes difference between it and lot of cheaper tables. I literally just sold a year ago a light wooden leg travel narrow width table because it had the cheap thin covering and though I’d not used that table much it was going on having the covering fall apart and it wasn’t that old. This table does NOT have that problem the covering seems to have quality stitching and definitely no chemical smell to it and is thick durable and will last in use or sitting around. It doesn’t look like it will break down and disintegrate in a few years like the cheaper tables; it will last . On the thin padding .. it’s a travel table. The way I work for what I’m using it for, outdoor stuff in campgrounds and beaches etc or quick setups in yoga and Pilates studios folks are relaxed and don’t care about a couch plush level table. As it is for me it’s still plenty comfortable to lay on .. I personally don’t need a lot of padding and I feel it can be helpful when healing people to let their body learn to be comfortable letting go without heavily padded surfaces.. so not a problem for me . Yes you can always drape your yoga mat or buy a heated plush top or just spare plush top if your desire is to make it thicker and cushy… I’m using this as on the go flat basic comfortable surface (which it is very comfortable) to treat people in reflexology and fascial energy release work and they go out in dream state and last thing they care about is the inches of padding in the table. Why I like having an aluminum legged table in my tool kit: quick height adjustment. If you’re going to seminars where different size people and height people you’re pairing with me to practice etc … aluminum tables are quick to adjust height and that’s the other reason I buy aluminum leg tables for my travel table. quick height adjustment. In my studio table I have to work very high up now it’s just the style where I’m not slouched over or need them lower for applying pressure I’m doing resonance work w basic light massage and some pressure and so I often have my table maxed on height where older folks need stool to get up on it .. so when I am sharing my table in seminar it helps to change height quickly or if I am doing mobile on the go or festival or outdoor work .. and can’t predict a really thick heavy person followed by a toothpick.. it helps for quick adjustments as my days of bearing through working at less than perfect height are over ..this is the other reason I get this table . The other thing I LIKE is that they DONT package this table with a lot of other junk you don’t need like the removable arms that widen a narrow table … while some may have use for these feeling their big clients need this comfort etc .. I’m not pulling up a couch for my clients so to speak and this is my travel table so their body can learn to rest a moment on it without those appendage arms and it’s just more junk I have to store somewhere or toss out cause I bought the cheaper table. It comes with the simple hand rest that hangs off the face cradle , the face cradle and padding and uses quality Velcro to hold those inside the table . I like the sturdy simple head rest design. Should last through a lot of use. The bag .. most these bags on tables are cheap so there’s nothing to rave about with the bag except there are notable design choices on this bag that show it’s designers cared and yet another reason why you’re paying $200 for the table vs the cheaper priced tables. The only complaint I have on the bag is that it fits snugger to the table than any table bag I’ve ever owned.. so it’s hard to leave a padding cover on it and put it back inside it’s bag. However they care enough to sew pair of foot print patches on to make it durable and thicker at the feet corners or bottom corners of the bag and inside the zipper area there is overlap fabric so that the zipper back doesn’t press directly on the table .. Nice table for what it is built for. If you’re looking for a well made quick adjustable height, light to carry and stow but still big enough to be comfortable table with quality durable stitching and covering that lasts .. and no shiny cheap aluminum look to the legs but a clean dark attractive powder coating look painted bottom that ships without extra junk you won’t use.. this is the table to buy from Master Massage

This table does not unfold all the way when opened, with middle being higher up than either of two ends. Also corner of one half does not line up with corner of other half. Elastic that provides tension to cables broke off on first use. Ever worse, latches are such poor quality that one broke first time trying to fold up table and latch. Padding is also very thin. Had a Master massage table for many years and it was much better quality. Horrible to see how bad quality of this is.

I ordered this because it was “lightweight”. I am 5’1”, 115 pounds and needed something semi easy to carry into homes. I put it together and it was extremely heavy and awkward for me. I discovered on the box that it shipped in said 55 pounds! There is no way the box and carry bag are 27 extra pounds! Not sure what to do about this yet, and if I will return it. I know for sure there is no way I can carry this in and out of homes but the padding ix comfortable and the table is sturdy. It is not portable, more something that you would set up and leave in one place.

My last table which was a larger table was lighter . this defintiely feels heavier than 27 lbs. that being said, It seems like a good table for the price. and since I will probably be doing more Reiki than Massage on it, it should be fine. (sure it will; be fine for massage also, just not as much of an issue). the case fits very nicely anbd the face cradle is certainly good enough. Has just enough padding that it should be compfortable .
