This one 27.5" wide, 1100 lbs elephant capacity compares to a 24" wide 500 lbs capacity. This one is much higher price and heavier. I bought to use at home instead of using a bed side. After buying and loving this 27.5", what did I do? Well, I returned to looking at all those that I had evaluated before choosing this one. I found that most of the others, that were about $100 less, actually looked the same. Photos looked almost identical. Foam thickness 2.5" vs 2.75" did not appear to be an issue. The 2.75" is very thick. I believe the 2.5" would be super OK, too. Lighter weight, 500 lb should be just as sturdy and OK, too. You see where I am going? Flip a coin and also notice that they all are 24" wide platform but for this one at 27.5" wide that is not worth the extra $100. Well maybe, if you are up around 250 lbs , or more.

I’ve been a massage therapist for 20 years. After moving across the country I needed to purchase another massage table and didn’t want to pay another $600 plus. So I purchased this one. It was shipped very promptly it was well packaged it was easy to unfold and all of the parts were accounted for and standard and the table held up beautifully for my first massage. Great, sturdy, wide table. I do physical therapy exercises for my knee every day and am so glad I made this investment in my health. It was a snap to open up and set up. A pleasure to exercise on and would be fine for massages too. If I need to move it that will be easy to do.

After opening the box I noticed one of the clasps to hold the bed closed was broken. It is still slightly functional, but very difficult to manage. The bed otherwise works as intended for the most part. Pros: + Weight Capacity is excellent for larger clients. + The padding is comfortable. + The color appears as pictured + Cleans easily Cons: - Broken clasp - Under table straps don't hold the headrest and arm rest well. It functions, but could be better.

The toxic smell from the leather is suffocating. It's been 4 days and the smell of toxic chemicals is has spread all over the house. The table in not sturdy at all when on the highest setting. Now I have to go through the hassle of returning it.
