The weight of this sauce pot is really nice. It is well balanced on the stovetop and the size and shape are perfect! I use these on a gas cooktop and after the first use they adopt a tinted patina that might be disappointing to some. However this is the natural aging of the copper. I don't love the patina so I use some Brasso or some Copperbrill and it shines right up, back to the factory finish. Overall very happy with the versatility and flexibility of this line of cookware. It is not only very pretty but practical for everyday use.     • How hard to clean the bottom

It is the size I needed. I thought it would be like the copper pans I had. I used it to make soup and had to use the cleanser on the bottom. It didn’t work so I asked my husband who is stronger to try. He had to do it two times. I’m disappointed as with the others the first time is the charm.

    • Numerous discoloration stains, poor quality control

Was quite disappointed in this Martha Stewart copper pot. whilst the packaging was very good, we quickly became disappointed in the quality of the actual pot. NUMEROUS discoloration stains were discovered on the copper exterior (dark splotches). Such appearance was not expected from a Martha Stewart branded item. Shall be returning. Additionally, had paid extra to receive the pot "gift wrapped" so as it would be a surprise gift- was merely put into an Amazon shipping box, and the actual Martha Stweart box had already been opened! ... show more

    • Not a really copper pan.
Size: 4 Quarts Color: Copper
This has a thin copper outer shell about 0.3mm which is maybe 10% of the pan thickness. It has a thin aluminum middle layer and a thicker inner stainless lining. I boiled 1000mL of water in this and in my All-Clad (not copper) pan at the same time and the All-Clad came to a boil faster and more uniformly in multiple tests. The copper is purely for aesthetics and not for high performance. This is also lighter than the All-Clad and the handle isn’t as well balanced. ... show more
