I took a chance on this piece and am happy I did. I ordered my normal size XL and it fits beautifully. I can button the sweater if I choose to - and the buttons are functional and so unique. I love the peplum design as it nips in at the waist. The sweater has a v-neck so it hits all of the right components to flatter my figure. The Navy Blue will work beautifully in my wardrobe for any and all seasons. This piece is soft, easy to wear, and provides necessary warmth as a layering piece in winter, an outer layer in spring, a keep-with-me-at-all-times in summer when everyone blasts their air conditioners, and an outer/layering piece in fall when the weather is wacky. I have several colors on Grace Karin sweaters and I love them they are soft and elegantly designed. The buttons are different, not sure how they woll hold up, but they are not a deal breaker. Size is accurate.

The sweater itself is wonderful. It’s cute. It’s soft. It fits well and is flattering. I gave it 4 stars because the buttons it comes with are hideous. The buttons aren’t white and they make the sweater look too frumpy. They are shaped bizarrely and are just weird. The good news is that this is an easy fix. You change up the buttons and VIOLA! Today as my first day to wear this sweater and I even added a wide elastic belt in black to go with black jeans and turtleneck. I love it and it fit better in Large size for me. 5'4.5" 130lb. I got a navy in x-large like Amazon recommended and it is too big, but I am keeping because of being able to layer over thicker things. I love the flared style at the bottom and it is very flattering to make you look like you have a smaller waist. The weight is thinner (not too thin) sweater weight and so far my buttons look good and haven't popped off like some people claimed they do. I can always sew on buttons and if you don't know how look on you tube for diys. I noticed that one buyer changed hers to smaller buttons and that would certainly be an option if you like to wear it with a wide belt like I did today. ... show more

This sweater is beautiful!! Excellent quality for the price. It’s very soft, well made and came packaged nicely. Fits true to size. I would not normally give my measurements in a review, I barely leave reviews in general but I actually love this sweater and hopefully other plus sized women find this review helpful prior to purchasing. I am a size 14/16 and 5’3” in height. Middle aged, short with belly. Smaller on top with thinner legs but a solid size16 around the middle and hips. I purchased the XL and it’s absolutely perfect. It makes a great cover up sweater when open but doesn’t look too big. Fitted beautifully when buttoned up giving great contour in the waist. I purchased to wear as a cover up if needed over a thin material dress for a special occasion. I’m very impressed and will be purchasing at least 1 more.
