I am a “certain age” and dealing with hair that seemed to change overnight (though who noticed during 2020?). I purchased one of these hairdryers directly from Lange and it end up losing all of the bristles because it didn’t have a cover. This one I purchased directly from Amazon and it was not only much cheaper but came with a cover for those bristles. Now they don’t get bent in my drawer and it saved me money. I would definitely recommend buying this product from Amazon.

Smooths my hair and makes it shiny and puts out a decent amount of heat for a brush. I use this for styling my bangs and face framing layers when my hair is damp. I also sleep with my hair up in a bun, so I like this tool for quickly smoothing out the weird kinks when I take it down and for getting some lift in my roots. This gives me shiny hair with lift, where the knockoff, I think was just made of cheaper material and didn't do the job as nicely.

My 8 y.o. John Frieda brush was overdue for a replacement and I got this one b/c my stylist uses this brand (she told me she prefers it to Dyson!). I got both 75mm and 60mm but keeping the smaller size for my almost-sholder length bob. I lovedmy John Frieda but this is definitely an upgrade. It somehow manages to both smooth the hair and give it bounce at the same time. I also stopped using the hair dryer - this has enough drying power to finish styling hair that about 50 percent dry.

Hair type: I have long, naturally wavy, coarse texture (holds curl for days), color treated hair. Hands down, the best hot tool I’ve ever used. I’m a person who spends a lot of money on hair tools in search of the best ones for my hair type and desired effect. (I’ve purchased Dyson, BioIonic, Babyliss to name a few) but the one hair tool I’ve never been happy with is a dryer, I’ve tried them all and they’ve all fallen short until this one. For years I’ve tried to perfect that “just out of the salon blowout” but just couldn’t get down with the ole’ round brush- hair dryer-holding your arms over your head for 45 minutes-routine so when I saw a friend post about this dryer/brush for prime day I added it to my cart instantly! I seriously can’t say enough good things about this product, in addition to providing the most absolutely PERFECT blowout possible it also is just a joy to use.
