Okay so this product is AWESOME. The way I used it was like a normal hair dye. I would apply it and leave it on for 20-30 minutes, then I would wash it out and have a beautiful deep purple color. My hair is natually light brown with blonde. The blonde parts where much more bright purple. I've been using this on my hair for a few months now but havent re-dyed it in a few weeks. The color is still there after daily washing (more of a pink now) and the blonde parts of my hair are a grey/blue. Its a cool affect! Absolutely loved this product. I am growing out 20 years of haircolor to go natural gray. I used this to blend my color. It was easy to apply and I kept it on about 7 minutes. I mixed the vivid violet and silver pearl to make a lighter shade. I wasn't sure if it would affect my hair too much, since I am a darker blonde, naturally. It worked great! My grays picked up the lavender and the darker blonde picked up the violet. The first two pictures are the morning after I applied the color. The last picture was my hair before I colored it. I went to bed with my hair still a little damp, and had no color bleed on my pillow. My hair is soft and manageable. I will definitely use it again! There are a lot of colors to choose from. I will probably try the lavender next. I love it!! ... show more

I don’t have a ton of gray hair, but what few I have it worked great on. I do want to stress that this is a dye! Wear gloves! If you follow the instructions I believe you will have the same results as me!
