    • Works great when walking backwards in hard soil. Starts easy.
Work good. For my Texas Soil it only works well when backing up. Otherwise to much bouncing due to its light weight. However, once you know this then hang on because it kicks some major butt when used backing up. After a few passes you can then use forward if you need to. My soil is heavy clay so it will work differently in light soils. The tines are removable which is great if you get a rock lodged between the tines and dirt shield. Good quality use ethanal free fuel if you not going to use this at least 2 times a year replace the gass every year or you will gum up the carb as all small engines

    • VERY CAPABLE tiller, but assembly and throttle cable instructions are TERRIBLE.
This is a very capable tiller, especially for everyday people. Unfortunately, assembly is a whole other story. I'd give the directions and overall experience a D-. Instructions are small, and vague at best. Plenty of gaps where you have to improvise. The throttle cable is also a big probem. There is NO clear info on what to do with it, or how to make it work correctly. It's a shame, because the tiller itself is great. I still recommend it, but be ready to scratch your head when you get it! ... show more

Perfect for previously tilled small garden. Larger rocks get stuck between tines easily. This tiller replaced a much larger and heavier duty tiller and I couldn’t be happier with it,

Great machine for tilling and detaching lawn...except one thing. The throttle control is like a pistol grip on the right handle. One must hold the lever in against a spring return for the entire use, You can only fit two fingers the lever and it is very skinny.in width. After about a half hour of use it becomes painful. If the throttle grip was redesigned, I would give this machine 6 stars. ... show more
