This looks really good in my black kitchen and I do love it for that reason only. Otherwise, it is not very practical. The lid is very hard to get off. I stopped trying and just put the water in the spout. But for all the effort not to be able to take the lid off, it leaks steam. So....when reaching for the not very ergonomic handle (stresses my wrist) there is a need for protection from the steam. Too bad that it couldn't also be a daily user. It seems it could still be interesting to look at and work better. The handle would look just as nice at an angle and the lid could fit better.
