I tried this carpet cleaner, only with water, no cleaning solution added, in one specific spot where out baby had vomited a week ago hoping to remove whatever was left after we tried absorb as much as we could with a towel. To our surprise, even though we don’t wear shoes upstairs in our bedroom, this cleaner removed a huge amount of dirt from our carpet. Personally I think this cleaner is great for spots, even car seats, but it would be too much work do a whole room with it. Now, based on my use, this cleaner really works. Also, the self cleaning tool also works fantastic. It is easy and fast to do. Overall I am beyond pleased with the results of this machine.

I have used several different carpet and upholstery cleaners from the expensive rentals to the cheap home variety. I was looking for a small unit to clean up pet messes. This Lydsto unit seemed exactly right for that job. The fresh tank hold about a gallon. I added a carpet cleaner to that. detaching attaching the tanks is easy. I love the retracting cord reel because it hides the mess away and you do not have a lot of cord to manage. The noise level is high but expected in a high vacuum piece of equipment. The tiny wheels on the bottom make it maneuverable on hard flooring but does not do much on carpet. The long hose is especially important to reduce having to move the heavy unit around. I know the ad says light weight but that is relative. With a gallon of liquid, the weight is not one that you want to lug around all the time. Having that long hose helps a lot. I found the unit fairly easy to use. It was good for thin upholstery as well as thick carpet. The liquid dispenser does not push the liquid through the carpet padding as the ad would have you believe. The spray is a surface thing. The cleaning operation does not go down to the padding. The one-gallon tank lasts a long time since we are not doing whole carpets here, just spots. Overall, this cleaning machine met my expectations and it the price is OK for the quality.

This carpet and upholstery cleaner has exceeded all of my expectations. The machine is very efficient and works surprisingly well. It's comparable in size and power to my Bissell, but this one does just as good a job, if not better. This portable hand-held cleaner is easy to use and comes with two brushes. One is a harder bristle-type brush for deep cleaning carpets and upholstery, while the other is a softer silicone brush for finer materials like silk and mesh. I've only used the deep cleaning brush, but the softer one feels gentle enough to use on delicate fabrics. The handle also has a self-cleaning switch that automatically cleans the brush heads and pipes. It's impressive! Additionally, this cleaner is also a drying machine, which makes it perfect for quick drying of carpets and upholstery. To use this feature, you need to remove the hose from the vacuum port and insert it into the air outlet port. The unit is lightweight, weighing only 12lbs, making it very easy to carry. It has two reservoirs: a 2000ml reservoir for fresh water and cleaning solution, and a 1800ml second reservoir for dirty water that was sucked up while cleaning. The suction hose is 5.9 ft long, and the retractable power cord is 5.8 ft long, allowing for neat storage of the cord inside the machine. Overall, I'm very pleased with this carpet and upholstery cleaner. It's simple to use, reliable, and capable. Despite the price, it's worth every penny in my opinion.

This carpet cleaner is really easy to set up and clean. It would spray water and clean the dirt at the same time while cleaning. All I need it to add water and toss away the dirty water every time I need to use it. It works really well with flat carpet, couch, car seats etc. The only reason for the 4 star, not a 5 is that it cannot clean carpet with fur on it.
