This is a pretty versatile robe. I like that it has a zipper instead of just a tie at the waist. I was a little disappointed that it's not absorbent - I like to wear it after a shower and even though I dry off with a towel first my hair will still be wet and I was hoping this robe would help absorb the water. It is a thin polyester type material though and it doesn't seem to absorb anything. It's a little on the thin side so if you're standing in front of the light you can kind of see through it, but it's not too bad. What I don't like is how easily it collects lint - every time I put it through the laundry, it seems to collect all the lint from everything else in the load, and the material already seems to be pilling a little on the front and sleeves where it gets the most wear, even though I've only had it a few weeks. It's useful for wearing around the house though and it's nice to have something lighter than my big terry cloth robe.

The Ekouaer store you MUST visit! They have amazing nightware for you to enjoy. I have a few pieces now and all fit true to size, and the quality of their nightware is just perfect. No exception with my most recent acquisition as I received the Ekouaer Women Waffle Sleepwear House Robe Bathrobe just recently. Double packaged in plastic to prevent damage and airtight, I cut the plastic open and the 100% polyester robe with a waffle pattern came out without many wrinkles, believe it or not. I tried it on prior to washing and once again it fit true to size. I had plenty of space for my breasts to move as I bent over to if I were to moisturize my legs or do a bit of morning pool maintenance in the privacy of my backyard. I found no stray threads or wonky seams as I closely examined how the craftsmanship was done. The zipper works smoothly and without any hesitation, and the armholes were just right fitting without any type of constraint. I find the material itself to be perfect for a modest poolside coverup should one have a maintenance person or someone in your backyard besides being a great robe for after a bath or shower. PRO TIP: I wash all lingerie and delicates (this item being no exception) in cold water with half the amount of detergent you think you need and in a gentle cycle. For a rinse aid, I use one or use 1/4 cup of vinegar. I will also include a few drops of my favorite essential oil in my final rinse. As a perfumer and cosmetic formulator by trade I create unique blends that can carry long past drying. Try using your favorite unique fragrance. I also hang to air dry. Not that it will or can shrink, dryers cause the most damage to material. This will give you years of long life to your clothing. The Ekouaer Women Waffle Sleepwear House Robe Bathrobe is a well made product and I consider it a giftable product. It fits my under $29.99 price point, is a quality purchase, and is a complete gift without hitting up another supplier to make the gift a complete gift. So, this makes these the giftsble list. I'm rating the Ekouaer Women Waffle Sleepwear House Robe Bathrobe five out of five stars on the Amazon scale. I just can't find a reason to dock a star and love it so much. So, my partner's late mother had a fuzzy purple housecoat that was very close in style to this one - zipped up the front, pockets, collar. She would get up in the morning and put this on over her PJs (often shorts and tank with no bra) so she could come into the kitchen to make coffee and not be "scandalous". Just...the perfect old lady thing to do. I always thought it looked comfortable and functional but I figured she'd had hers for so long and you no longer really see them. She unfortunately passed away after a brief illness and my partner asked me if I wanted her housecoat to remind me of her. While I did I told him that I will put it with my keepsakes because it would never fit. But, she was barely 5-feet tall and I am 5'5". He understood. But then I saw this housecoat! It's almost exactly like hers except it's not fuzzy, which is okay. I had to get it. Since it's housecoat and meant to be worn over other clothes I went with the large even though I am size medium. I could've gone with the medium and it would've been fine, at least in the warmer weather when nightclothes are thinner. But maybe even in winter since I live in a warmer area that rarely gets very cold. However, I don't mind it being a bit big. But, my point - the sizing is as expected. A large is a true large. I love it. It's comfy and provides that little bit of cozy warmth I always need when I first get out of bed since I am in a lightweight nightgown or thin PJs. I put on my flipflops and wander out to get coffee and no one gasps and the underdressed middle-aged lady. So, I guess I have arrived. I love it and it reminds me of her.

I like the waffle zipper robes. This one is not really a waffle weave and it is so lightweight it is see through! I probably wouldn’t mind, but I bought it so that I could wear it while staying at a friends house. This is a very cheap quality but the price definitely reflects that.
