I LOVE this paddle. I was playing with a $280 Carbon 3x. It got a dead spot in less than 8 months. I was looking for power. I hit hard! But I wanted control too. This Luzz Cannon delivers. Im a DUPR 3.5. I play 5 days a week. I am so happy with my choice!! Buy it.

My husband says Noticeably more gritty face than other paddles so it has really good spin. Control is really good after adding 4.5 grams on each side. Even after the weight, it feels good. Easily top 5 paddles for around $100. Tape on the side was added after purchase.

I saw multiple reviews on this paddle saying it’s one of the most versatile, best bang for your buck, “boomstick”. I was super excited to get it. Out of the box, it looks really nice and the grit on the face was substantial. However, I knew after a couple of hits that this thing was either completely defective or it’s just a terrible paddle overall. The sound of the ball off the paddle sounds like you’re hitting the ball with plywood. There’s absolutely zero pop and zero “boom”. I gave it a couple of games to see if maybe it was me or my playstyle or my grip, but no. I let a few other players test it and they all thought the same thing. Maybe just this one has a defective core? The whole thing was a dead spot. I hate that I have to return this but I don’t have a choice ... show more

The paddle itself is pretty great and it is as good as my more expensive Joola/crbn paddles and i find myself choosing to play with it over the others in my bag. My biggest issue is that the seller sent me a used paddle, it had clearly been played with and had scuffing on the edges from hitting the court on drop shots. I could have returned it but i decided to try it out anyways and i really like it so i just kept it. if you are on the fence, just buy it. ... show more
