It looks cool, that's the reason I purchased it. The safe does feel a bit weak and the door weight more than the whole safe lol. So if you don't have much in the safe it will probably tip forward when the door is %100 open. You are meant to screw it into a wall or floor but if you put a bit of weight inside that's probably not necessary. The external power sucks so don't lose your keys haha, the external power did not work for me, it's really bad other than that the safe is pretty cool. The media could not be loaded. Very sleek, nice to look at. The shelf and light inside are great. Had a few issues programming it, but that was likely user error. It’s not fireproof; but that’s the only flaw.

Setup was a breeze. And most importantly it holds all the items I need. I wouldn't recommend for large documents but for the basics works great. Cash, c.c. jewelry, checkbooks and identification documents. I bought a fireproof envelope and have passport and other documents in there..also one for family photos and a backup hd of my filing cabinet in case the world ends. The anchors work well but I have plaster walls so my dad and brother had to reinforce the wall before installing so it makes it impossible to rip out in theft. I saw people complaining about the door. Truthfully missing the lock mechanism happened only once to me. It's so easy to use I don't understand the gripe. Keypad is super quick and the key is even easier to use. I did place a sticker on the front of the cover because I don't like the brand logo. The inside glass is gorgeous!!! So easy to see jewelry and makes it look expensive. I want the larger size for my office but it's not available right now. I really love the lining and shape. It did arrive dented on the back corner against the wall but no one will see that so I don't mind enough to return. It has weight and the door is sturdier that I thought. Doesn't feel cheap at all. On the contrary the velvet lining is lovely!! Looks great in my bedroom closet. Absolutely love it!!!! ... show more

Unfortunately, I clearly did not get a brand new item - which seems like an enduring theme of Amazon these day 😕. Since I had paid full price for a new one, this is going back. If you’re still interested in trying this safe (and you’re lucky enough to actually get it new), then there’s some highlights you should probably know. It seems sturdy enough overall, but the paint chips off very easily (not sure what it’s made of - very flaky and turns to dust). There’s decent enough room in the safe for jewelry, cash, photos, etc. However, the mini shelf on the inside is flimsy and poorly assembled. The latches for it are crude and cumbersome to reattach. The front rim of the shelf popped off upon the gentlest attempt to slide it out (see pic). The felt inside is a nice touch, but since mine was used, I can only assume the stark smell was from the previous owner - although it could just be how it smells. If this safe came brand new, I’m still not sure I’d keep it. I’d give it 3/5 stars, if new. But my overall experience with the one I got stands at 2/5. ... show more
