Nice bench took about 20 mins to assemble! Very clear instruction's. Solid for just having one bar on the back rest, both part's of the bench are adjustable. This is an early out of the box/assembly (only used twice) review. I will need to put this thing through more workouts to really give it a better review/rating when I see how well it holds up to heavier work with heavier weights. I’ll update accordingly. Most of the top selling adjustable benches on Amazon are the portable/collapsable type. I’m 6’ 4 and regularly use dumbbells that are 60-70 pounds each, so I knew a portable bench wasn’t going to cut it, both in size and stability (a 700 pound limit means nothing when the bench wobbles when you mount or dismount your weights). We were impressed right out of the box with how solid this thing is. Same size as the benches at my gym. Not quite professional gym quality, but certainly appears to be strong enough to handle whatever we throw at it in a two person home gym, and big enough to handle my height. We will have to wait to see how well the padding and seat vinyl coverings hold up. We were worried because the full upright position wasn’t “true 90 degrees”, but it turns out you want that slight lean back, fully upright would actually be uncomfortable. The top upright position was perfect for sitting shoulder presses and seated bicep work for instance. The curved orange arm you see (that is used to adjust and support the bench and seat) is HEAVY one piece metal, very solid. The mechanism it locks into on the frame is of similar quality. I don’t have any worries that this mechanism could fail during use, again this whole thing is pretty darn solid. In the bench positions some people may find the gap between the seat and the backrest too wide, but it’s pretty standard width for any adjustable bench (about the same gap as the benches at my gym). You can use a rolled up towel if it really bothers you. Assembly was straight forward and the wrenches you need are included if you don’t have your own tools. A second set of hands will speed things up for some of the down facing nuts/bolts. The top set of rollers they show in photos is optional and removable/replaceable with a locking pin. The bottom set is adjustable and can be placed in three different heights (or just removed) via a knob/bolt. Snagged this for $85 after the coupon during the October Prime days, which turns out is a pretty good deal for a heavier duty adjustable bench of this construction/quality. Even without the sale price, the current coupon makes this one of the best prices for a bench of this quality. (As long as it holds up for a while, which construction-wise, it feels like it should). 5 Star satisfaction at this point, feeling like l got a good deal. ... show more

    • Nice Well Built Bench
This is a very nice workout bench for under $100. It is extremely solid and well made. It has tons of adjustability. You can change the positioning of pretty much every aspect of the bench. It was pretty quick and easy to assemble with the directions. They weren't great, but they were good enough to get the job done. It also folds up pretty compactly for it's size and only requires you to pull 2 pins to do so. It could be stored in a closet or a corner out of the way with no problem. It has a large padded seat and back rest that is comfortable during use and should fit even a pretty large person. I mainly got it for doing various ab work because I have unfortunately started developing a slight gut as I'm getting older. It is perfect for that type of use because it has a sturdy and adjustable leg holder that actually firmly holds your legs in place during sit ups like you would want and expect it to. I also very much like that the back rest can fold pretty far down and the angle of the seat can be changed. Which allows you to do various types of incline and decline sit ups. I don't plan to use it for a lot of weight lifting type stuff yet, but it is so well built that I have no worries that it would be able to handle quite a bit of weight when the time comes. Overall I think it is an awesome bench for the money. I can't wait to see the results I can hopefully obtain with it. If you are wanting a solid bench with a lot of adjustability then this would definitely be a great one to go with. ... show more

I'm very happy with this bench. First off, assembly is fairly straightforward. A few minor difficulties but nothing crazy. Once assembled, this is great. It's adjustable and very sturdy. It holds plenty of weight. I'm 175 and have no doubt this can hold whatever I lift. It's adjustable past horizontal which is perfect to be able to do declines. Once done it has wheels to easily roll out of the way for storage. Very nice bench that will last me a lifetime. ... show more

I am very happy with the bench. It is a decent weight bench. The assembly is NOT easy. They have an assembly video that is worthless. There are nuts and bolts that can only go in 1 place. The video just shows a hand grabbing a nut and a bolt and washer and putting it together. It does not show which bolt goes where. Assembly was NOT fun. I will start by saying I’m a 5’7 female and weigh 115 lbs. This weight bench is extremely sturdy and meets all my needs for a home gym weight bench. It was very easy to assemble-mostly assembled right out the box. I’ve used this weight bench over two months, and haven’t had any problems whatsoever with this bench. I do workout daily, so it’s definitely been put to the test. I’m not a 300 lb male, but as a female that is 5’7 and weighs 115 lbs, this weight bench is perfect for me! ... show more

    • Extremely cheap and weak welds
While the assembly was easy enough, the bench itself has very small contact points for connecting pieces and is therefore not very sturdy. Also, the welds are very sloppy and don’t look as if they will last very long.
